Catherine Voss. Recon Team. Phantom-1. IC Chatter. After Maria's lackluster briefing, Catherine stared through a monocular at the black smoke billowing out of Tayibe. Like a really damn obvious beacon, it displayed the crashed chopper's location to all. "They must have a hidden cache of heavy weapons somewhere in the city..." She muttered to herself offhandedly. Of course they could have missed a big ass cache of shape-charge launchers, the Taliban were good at hiding their equipment, and so are ISIS. Having civilian homes as a nice hidden storage unit was one of the many perks these desert fighters had out here. And since Catherine and her new found crew couldn't enter any homes, it would have been very easy to miss any heavy ordinance. She was surprised that Washe had nothing to say as of yet either. Maybe he was just shocked that his plan went tits up in a matter of minutes, or maybe he was just rethinking a new grand plan that will surely be his magnum opus. Or perhaps he was just silently seething in anger. Who the hell knew? Catherine lowered the monocular and stored it her small backpack, filled with ammo and bland tasting MRE's, and looked towards her two companions. "The town is going to be a clusterfuck..." Her voice strangely calm despite the severity of the current situation. "Baron's extraction team was on that chopper..." gesturing with a pinky finger towards the smoke that continued to rise. "So we will have to take their place." Her eyes squinted towards the faint dots of buildings that were the training grounds. A column of dust was rising as what appeared to be vehicles headed towards the backwater town to provide reinforcements. "And it looks like the numbers in Baron's location will be a lot thinner. The training camp is going to be our best bet. What do you two say?"
