I honestly don't believe any internet movements are going to change how the NSA does things. They've been monitoring everyone for as long as they've been a thing, the only difference was this time, they got caught. 

Internet protests are about as effective as a snowball fight in the Middle East. Sure, it's neat to look at for a little while, but then it melts away with no substance.
