Also, Ridlins, that orb is some sort of thing that amplifies your psychic-type attacks, the arm band for Matt is one of those clothing items, and if I'm correct, it should reduce the damage Dark-type moves do to him. If Noire ever returns, then the flower aids bug-type attacks...
as for what Anthony got, it's a power bracer, basically, it trains him in attack, but slows him down as it does.
