As I recall, my reaction to the whole issue of internet surveillance was like, "Where have you guys been living?" It seems like a no-brainer in the post-9/11 environment. But there seems to be a lot of buyer's remorse these days. There certainly wasn't when all this nashnul securitah stuff got spun up. Too bad, really.
