Luke looked at the teacher who was roaming the hall of the train car. She seemed like a strict teacher. She was kind of scary looking, and Luke had no interest in making enemies in the faculty so early in the semester. Luke nodded his head with a "yes, ma'am," as he took her advice and left for another cart. 

He would much rather get into trouble, without the woman looking over his back so he decide to head for the opposite end of the car, he was exploring after all. As he reached the end of the car he looked though the window and saw two boys talking with a girl about sports. It was a better conversation starter to get to know some of his fellow students so he can have some kind of an idea of how the semester was going to feel. 

He opened the door to the cart and stepped in. 

"Pardon my intrusion, but while in the hall I overhead your conversation about sports which caught my interest. My name is Luke Soper. What sports do you play?"
