Where is that official cannon from? The entire EU is now considered non-cannon because Disney didn't like it, so does that still count?

If anyone has a problem with it I could make one of the surviving Jedi Masters the Jedi posterboy (Zez looks like he'd like the position) and run with that history, but it won't really matter to the story.
