Despite the humbling positions she has been in due to Odin’s wrath, Loki still pertains to this expectation and is incredibly confident, maybe even arrogant. Nothing daunts her and when she faces a problem, she pushes through. This relates very well to her gambling addiction; when she loses a bet, she is quick to find a way around it. Leading to her next trait: Loki is undeniably cunning, more so than any other God on Yggdrasil. Any word that comes out of her mouth can possibly be a lie and the Gods have learned not to trust what she says so easily – well, except for a chosen few, namely Thor. Even though she tries her hardest to make everyone’s life a living hell, Loki isn’t inherently evil. She doesn’t believe in total dominance over the human species, but instead thinks that everyone should remain in their own realms as intermingling is sure to lead to the trouble she doesn’t want. Loki, at the end of the day, just wants to have fun, especially so because all she finds is dull boredom wherever she looks. Though, that being said, Loki is a force to reckon with when she is out for blood and is not to be played around with due to her hot temper. When angered, she becomes icy and can hold a grudge for a long while until she exacts her vengeance. On a different side to her, Loki is oddly maternal to her monster children, of which had been ripped away from her, though no one else. She enjoys knowledge and wit; if she finds anyone of this make, she will surely battle them with clever riddles to prove her superiority. LIKES: - Knowledge - Children - Coldness - Puzzles/riddles - Tricks DISLIKES: - Odin - Seriousness - Stupidity - Hot weather - Humidity HISTORY: Loki was born in Jotunheim to a frost giant and an Aesir; this makes her half-frost giant. When she was only ten, she became the “blood” sister of Odin much to her ire. They never got along as Loki always played tricks on him and he was boring, in her opinion. Loki had four children. Three of them was from a frost giant and were all considered monster: Hel, who became the ruler of Helheim; Fenrir, a giant wolf who Odin chained away due to his destiny of killing the God; and Jorgumandr, the Midgard Serpent that dwells in the oceans, lurking for the time in which he will kill Thor. Loki had birthed one more son, a son she had in order to escape a possible debt, but one that she loves just as much as the others. His name is Sleipnir, he is a eight-legged horse whom Odin rides. Unknown to Odin, Loki had an affair with his son Baldr, the God of Light and Purity. When Baldr married another woman, Loki was enraged and so she calculated his death perfectly and now he lives with Hel, Loki’s daughter. Loki blamed Baldr’s death on his brother and Bladr’s sister killed him. Loki attempted to prevent Odin from taking over Midgard and was sent to the bottom of Yggdrasil, to be tortured by a snake’s venom. Her best friend, Sigyn, helps her by holding a bowl and catching the poison and then dumps it away from the roots of Yggdrasil. Loki convinced two Vikings who came down Yggdrasil to poison the tree and throw the Gods’ into an inescapable slumber.
