I have strong opinions on this matter but I'm not about to voice them mostly due to lack of coherence right now.

What I will say is the lack of some social/personalization features as well as the sharp drop in average amount of postings since the guildfall pushed me away from the site to a degree, and forum roleplaying in general. It felt like months long writers block, and it has been miserable. 

I do think it's kind of short sighted to say that the guild regulars will always be here and that's all that matters, shouldn't we want the guild to grow? get bigger? have more people, more creativity, more personalities and more day to day action? If the only thing giving people sticking power here on the guild are the friends and community they've had for years, that's not very convincing for new people to stay.
