New Condia The Fleet shield was holding, but barely, clinging on to it's last strings of Life. A few more shots and it would die. Message to the Terrans "This is the New Condia Defense Authority, under attack by hostile forces, please assist!" The Golden Fortress "On a Dark night, the Golden Fortress will fall. Corrupted. and so will the mother. The Hero of Gliese and the remaining defenders are all that will be left. The Seeds of Harmony their tools to bring the Mother back from her corrupted state." -The Book of Prophecies The Golden Fortress, the center of Faust's domain. Pure gold, guarded by the angelic Defenders of Harmony. Chaos had struck at a excellent time, as Faust rested, being such a ancient god. The Defenders of Harmony easily bested the daemons and chaos forces one on one fights, but their sheer numbers overwhelmed them. The horde broke through, breaching the throne room. Their Faust wrested, her long flowing hair, her white gown. Truly she did indeed look like a loving and caring mother. Lahnha looked, she had her few remaining guard retreating, they already had grabbed the Seed of Harmony that would allow them to retain their magical ability, severing their connection to Faust so as to avoid being corrupted by Chaos. Faust somehow knew this day would come, and she had prepared. Several bright white doves flew up as Lahnha summoned them to go off to the Iscandarians who had joined their order. She took one last look at the beautiful Fortress, before it fell into a darkness. The Tower of the High Archmage, Alas Prime Basil was tending to his research as usual, before hearing something outside the door of his office. He went their and saw a dove, the symbol of Harmony. And it sang in a sad tone. "The Mother Dove has Fallen." Basil immediately ran, grabbing his shuttle and he cast the spell. Pain he felt, his connection to Faust now severed. He headed for Sol, feeling some of the pain dissipate as a new connection replaced the one he had with Faust. He needed to see Fergus, and he needed to see Lahnha. Sol A ship arrived in the system, but it was unique. It seemed to be made of pure gold and silver, and scans showed had signatures like no other ship. "I need to speak to Fergus, tell him Jyuu-Ichi. Tell him Lahnha has come back." broadcasted the ship, in perfect English.
Unknown, Warp Space The warp portal vanished as Faust pushed within by the Daemon horde. Faust awoke with a gasp... Her eyes opened to find the desolate barren landscape of a warp plain. A single obsidian pillar stood before her. On the pillar as a chalice. The swirling purple sky was intoxicating to behold. That is when quiet whispers began within the Fausts mind. "You are weak." "You are powerless to save them." "How can Harmony stop destruction?" "You will walk a different path... I have seen it." "Would you not do anything for your children?" "The loving would end their suffering by teaching them to defend themselves." "You're children are weak... only through you can they become stronger." "Only the power if the warp can save them." "Accept our gift Goddess, and you will be more powerful than you could ever have imagined." "Drink of the warp and you can save yourself and your children from certain destruction." Faust stood still as it seemed the entire world moved under her feet until she stood only a foot from the Pillar and the strange chalice. The liquid within was a dark purple that invoked a deep thirst in all who gazed upon it. “My Children stand as strong as ever, they face many threats but they hold against the Darkness, what do you have as evidence to the contrary?” asked Faust. The God's didn't not reply with words. Instead Faust felt her vision darken and then say a glim light appear. The light grew and began to take shape. The shapes slowly became buildings and smoke. Faust slowly began to recognize the image. Alas Prime. The dim haze covered the planet and choked out the sun. The urban landscape little more than ruins now. A tattered draconian flag fluttered above the ruins. The city was silent. The image faded. Then a new light grew this time it was a very different atmosphere. The fleshy walls of the room rippled of their own accord and cast a sickly green pale glow upon the room. In the center of the massive chamber stood thousands of wounded and crying Iscandarians. Men, women, and children. The walls rippled again causing everyone to pause. The room went completely silent. It breathed fear. Then a alone scream filled the air. Followed by an unnatural roar. The feeding had begun. The image faded once again. "Now you see lost children.” "No... they have their allies... The Terrans and Sazkarjhit, they will help them..." squeaked Faust, reeling from the visions. “The Sakarjhit serve a false religion. How long till they betray you and your children. The Terrans kill themselves! How can they be trusted to aid a race as glorious as your children” Then another vision The Sazkarjhit warfleet arrived above the Iscandarian world just in time to stop the incoming Ethereal forces. But nothing happened. The Sazkarjhit ships did not fire and the Ethereal attack began. Then the Sazkarjhit fleet began to bombard the planet while a message was broadcast on all channels "You served the wrong God. You pay the price!" “I must save them… They need power.” finished Faust. She grasped the chalice, drinking from it.
