It was as soon as Caleb had finished his question, Nomis would instantly stop and explode on the teen. Caleb knew that it was a touchy subject for sure, but it was the woman that claimed to be his mother that made him mildly curious. Caleb had originally thought that she was making it up or whatever, but if she did, then what reason would she have for doing it? Caleb had never known his mother, only from what his uncle had told him. Still, for Nomis to completely explode on him like that a little much, even for him. As Caleb was about to respond to his uncle's original response to his question, Nomis went on to state that he was the one who raised Caleb and made him strong. He further stated that it wasn't either his mother or father, but his uncle. Then he would ask in a demanding way on what made the young man to ask such a question. This was something that Caleb didn't know how to respond, because at this point he was frozen still. He hated how his uncle got when he was angry. Every time there would be even the slightest mention of Cerden or if something didn't go exactly the way he went, Nomis got angry, and when he got angry, Caleb was almost always the recipient of his anger. Trying to find the words, Caleb would just say it, but he knew his uncle would get even madder at him. "At the factory in Hollow Bastion, I saw a woman claiming to be her. She was with father." Caleb said as he recalled his last image of Cerden before he was gone from the now destroyed factory on Hollow Bastion. "She said that she was my mother, but that can't be true, right? She was just saying that. My mother, as you have told me, died when I was born." Caleb said, knowing full-well that his uncle wouldn't be happy with any of it.
