Internally, Nicholas continued to writhe with a strange anger. It was not normal for him to feel so peeved over a situation that involved someone in a higher position, but for someone to treat another's death with such sheer numbness...it simply baffled him. His mind began to turn to the new restriction, though. Despite it being something that probably was beneficial, he admittedly found it somewhat limiting to someone like himself, someone who preferred to do things by his lonesome sometimes, to pull away for at least brief moments to recollect himself. Still...he was sure he could persuade someone to walk with him to the needed places without being asked questions. He was sure such people existed, though, he was sure Deborah was not happy with this turn-out. Even now, he could hear her cursing, only turning to glance towards her for a moment before turning back towards the stage to consider his thoughts more. But that's when he noticed it. Professor Henry, walking onto the stage, and beginning to speak. Within moments, his anger turned into determination, and became new-found fuel. Now, while it obviously wasn't within the proper mandates of the school, his speech gave him something to lean on, and to direct his anger. He felt much more relieved, a sigh leaving his mouth before he proceeded to stand up, applauding Henry along with the rest of those present. And then he heard his name called. He blinked, his eyes turning towards Deborah and Shannon and...was that Aislin? She looked pretty rough, even for what had happened. He had to wonder what all had transpired since they had met in that hospital room...hopefully, nothing horrible beyond...well, the obvious. But his gut was still on alert, he felt pretty shaky today, so he wasn't about to let his mind wander off on its own threads of what -could- have happened. So he smiled as he nodded to Deborah. Might as well go with them, he had nothing else to do today. Besides, admittedly, he did feel quite safe around Deborah. As Aislin spoke to him, he couldn't help but blush a little, hiding it by lowering his head a bit and scratching the back of his head. Really, it wasn't like he was too important right now. He wasn't quite used to getting positive attention, so he...well, he nervously scratched the back of his head, before speaking. "W-well...em, to be very honest, the black-out wasn't a pleasant time, as we all know, but I'm okay." He stated, finally getting out a response with a bit of relief, biting his lip as he tried as hard as he could to keep himself together. And so the group began to depart, as he was speaking, and noting the presence of now Claire and Ben. Hrm. This was getting a bit...crowded. He admittedly pulled to the back of the group as they began to walk, trying not to make himself a notable person to talk to in this larger group. But he kept his eyes on Deborah and Aislin, finding their presences here soothed him greatly. Beyond that, something about Aislin, her joy and her smiling demeanor, despite her appearance, not to mention their encounter in the hospital, had painted her as someone who could produce a positive atmosphere. As they arrived at the Garden, he simply kept silent as Aislin and Deborah, along with Shannon, walked off to have a private talk, which was reasonable. As Aislin walked off, Nicholas couldn't help but note another factor that made Aislin really nice to be around, as blush once again returned to his face... She was pretty cute.
