Cassie listened as Klaus spoke, and she fell silent. "Forgive me, I had no idea." She said, but she still looked to him. "But that's not what changed you. I am an intuitive woman, by nature and by blood, as much impact as that may have had on you, your wall came down before then. Something tells me you met someone that challenged you in a way you never expected. If you don't want to talk about it, I get it. Ending up broken hearted is one of the most traumatic things anyone like us can go through." She said, seeing a flyer for the carnival again, and she looked to him. "Change in topic though, let's go be human. Skip the stroll and the dancing, let's go to this carnival thing. Plenty of games and rides, and food of both sorts." She said, taking hold of hos hand and walking slightly in front of him and turning to face him. "Let loose, forget all the vampire, werewolf, and witch stuff right?" She smiled, reminding herself this was how shewould repay him, and perhaps she would get to see more of the man behind the monster. "Come on, I think I know where its at." -- Damon chuckled at her remark. "Right, jab an age joke at me. Unlike woman vampires, I will tell you my age all day." He said to her, and he allowed her to pull him up. After he paid for their stuff, he draped an arm around her as they headed in the direction of the carnival. He placed a kiss to the side of her head. It reminded him so much of when he was human. Long days were what he had now, especially since sleep didn't always help him. He liked this gentle reminder though, and he enjoyed this stuff. He lived a lot of human things. Dancing, dates, parties, and the like. He looked to Anya, "So whst do you want to hit first?"
