Gwen nodded in agreement. It certainly would be better if they ventured with other people. Unfortunately, she couldn't quite figure out where they were or how to get back. If there was one thing that she lacked more than anything, it was a sense of direction. Luckily, Gwen had Tanikazi to follow, hoping that he had a better memory than she did. As they weaved their way through various hallways and corridors, she knew that they were probably lost. As they turned a corner, Gwen saw a strange creature leaving a room and walking out into the hallway. She seemed to have snakes coming out of her hair, much like the mythical legend Medusa. In fact, she looked just as she had imagined Medusa herself would have looked like. Gwen quickly sidestepped and retreated back behind the corner, only peeping her head around slightly in fear that she might be turned to stone. As she peered into the open door behind the Medusa look-a-like, she noticed what seemed to be a large water tank hidden behind her. She caught sight of the flick of a fish tail, and gasped at the thought that it might be a mermaid, one of her favourite creatures. Wait, what? Mermaids and Medusa? No, this was a little to insane for her to take in. Gwen took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "This is only a dream... an unrealistic, crazy, intense dream." Gwen reassured herself with a quiet voice, hoping she could open her eyes and awaken in her the safety of her bedroom. Unfortunately, she was still within the walls of the mysterious pyramid.
