What would appear as a quaint village to any passerby is anything but. Each night, the streets are prowled by horrors of the dark. Cruel men and women turned beast by the moon. Werewolves. They strike, in the dead of night, and feed on the helpless villagers. Well, maybe "helpless" isn't the best word. The werewolves aren't the only ones who wake up at night. There are others who possess powers and skills, and will spend the night searching, aiding, or even killing. Each day, the village convenes in council. Set on the eradication of the werewolves that plague the moonlit passages, those who have survived the night deliberate, using cunning, logic and evidence to pinpoint the identity of the werewolves, while the werewolves attempt to deceive and direct suspicion away from themselves. Each evening, the villagers take a vote, agreeing to hang whomever is chosen, for the good of the village. Now the question stands, what are YOU? Are you a humble villager, praying to live through the night? Are you a hungry werewolf, trying to cover your tracks each day? Or are you something else? Something intuitive? Holy? Or perhaps sinister? This game can run quickly, and playing multiple rounds is the most common way to play. After each game, the roles swap. Two players who spoke side by side at the table in one round might be at each others throats in the next. Here is a taste of some of the roles: Human Faction
Each day, find the werewolves and vote to lynch them. Kill all of the werewolves to win.

Each night, choose a target player. You will learn if that player is a werewolf or not.

If you die, immediately choose a target. That target dies.

Each night, choose a player to protect. You cannot choose yourself, and you cannot choose the same player more than once per game.
Werewolf Faction
Each night, eat a player. If the number of werewolves equals the number of humans, you win.

You are a Werewolf, but you can't win unless you are the only werewolf alive.

You are not a Werewolf, but you win if the werewolves win, and lose if the werewolves lose.

You do not feed with the Werewolves, but if you die, the Werewolves get to kill two humans on the next night. A Seer who targets you will think you are a Werewolf.
There will of course be many more roles than this. Not every role will be used in any one game, the ones that do show up and the amount that show up depend usually on the number of players. Technically, a minimum of 4 players is needed, but there's no upper limit, and the more players there are, the better.
