before he could say anything more, Sinestro tried to attack them again and Legacy quickly jumped out of the way of the yellow hammer. when he saw Spiderman force Sinestro to hit himself with his own hammer, Legacy was about to go in and assist when a Blue Lantern came into the fray. it seemed to Legacy that Sinestro was being taken care of by the others, so he decided to go in and help Thor who was pinned down by the Goblin Queen's psychic powers. when he saw her engage Deadpool and knock eventually cause him to shoot himself, he flew in quick and knocked her a few feet away with a quick punch. she gave a grunt of pain from Legacy's attack and recovered fast. she stared at him and sneered, "Ah Legacy, the patriotic Superman wannabee. you may have superhuman strength and invulnerability, but your mind is as weak as any ordinary simpleton."

Legacy was about to fly at her to knock her down, when his mind was attacked by a powerful psionic blast. he gave a cry of pain as he felt his head being wracked with agonizing headaches. the pain was great enough to bring him to his knees, and he clutched at his head, trying to ease the pain. John had developed many powers from his family's long line of heroes, but resistance to psychic attacks was not one of them and he was helpless against the Goblin Queen's powerful onslaught. the pain made it hard for him to think and he tried to think of a solution to the problem.
