Okay, guess I should add a little more to CS. But before I can I have to ask a question. Can he be a half-vampire or do those not exist in this world?

As for magecraft, gonna give him a shadow affinity and a natural at the breathing technique thing. The Shadow magic I plan for is a highly offensive magic, turning shadows into dangerous weapons and ferocious creatures. Can also be used for limited teleportation and improvement of the body and weapons.
