"You can't go and fight the King singlehandedly though, none of us can. That's the whole reason we're gathering support for the rebels is so we all can go fight as a group. If one person could beat him do you think Korian would have spent so much time plodding around like he has? Or if that was the case why not just send us all in? After all we're stronger than they are." It was all about revenge, Yumi surmised, and Viral wasn't the only one that wanted it. She acknowledged though that if they were going to get back at the Saiyans then it had to be with some support, otherwise it was just a suicide run. She didn't like the idea of any one of them going in alone, it wouldn't work. The Beastman wasn't picking his words very carefully with how he was upsetting Yumi, enough so to the point she stopped and turned on him. No way was she going to let him talk like he was just a weapon, that was ridiculous! "You can be a warrior and still have people care for you! All of Earth's warriors before us did, I don't get why you think these two things have to be exclusive. You've got people all around you who care about you, and all you can do is turn us away and say we're mad for even considering caring!" She was getting all kinds of flustered over all of this, she absolutely hated when Viral demeaned himself. He was better than anything he said but wouldn't accept that as the truth, he had to be bad in his own eyes. "Even the androids were people, we consider them people. I don't understand... We're trying to include you, to count you among everyone else. So you're different, that's not bad, and it doesn't mean you're not one of us. Why can't you just accept that?" Takeshi gave small nods of his head as T'charrl spoke, making an earnest attempt to drink in what was being said and commit it to memory. So essentially you had to care for the weapon for it to be useful, and then there was the whole extension of oneself bit too. Okay, that sort of cleared up the extra limb analogy, but it didn't guarantee he'd get it still. Having that in mind was easy enough, it was hard to actually imagine it as such and use it like he might an arm. It would come with time, he figured, and plenty of effort to get there. It wouldn't be unlike his learning Ki from his master all those years ago, it would just require patience. It was easier to understand the concepts of weaponry than it was to explain his stance on Viral, something that had Takeshi tripping over himself in an attempt to share. "Well... You could say Yumi and Vegeta are his family, but not me or Shu... I mean I guess he's kind of like family? We've known him for a long time, and I sort of consider all my friends family, so yeah. But... I don't know, it's complicated," he mumbled, pulling his legs up and laying his head on his knees with a groan. How the heck was he supposed to say anything without T'charrl turning it back on him? Sure he respected Viral and thought of him as more than just someone he fought with, but the Kaesstrian made it sound like they were as close as he was with Shu almost. Throwing out a mock attempt at personifying Viral the Saiyan smiled slightly amused, sticking out his tongue childishly at T'charrl, "As if I'd tell you if I did or not," Takeshi joked, waving a hand dismissively, "Nah, I don't. I guess the easiest way to put this is I respect the guy, and I want him to get better because it's awesome fighting with him, you know? It's kind of like a rivalry thing, I guess."
