Character Sheet   Name: Nero Acerbi Species: Human Age: 17 Rank/Title: Padawan Planet of Origin/Birth: Bespin Force Sensitive Y/N: Yes   Appearance:
A milky-skinned youth with short white hair and curious ice blue eyes. He has a compact, tight body that implies he cherishes his physical appearance, or has a dutiful work ethic. His muscles are lean, not at all bulky, giving him a tense, whip-like quality. Like most Padawans he wears gray robes and pants of varying shades but sets himself apart with a dark blue muffler that falls down his shoulders and silver accessories; they were pressed by his prestigious family for notoriety. While not incredibly tall, nor short, Nero stands at an impressive height of 5'11”.
Skills/Abilities/Talents/Training:
- Force Empathy: A skill that he showcased at a very young age. When it came down to understanding another person's emotions to its base level, he was the best. It came down to the point that he could sense a person's actions through their emotions, capable of, more or less, assuming an attack through rage, or a surrender through understanding or fear. Before being taught intensively and studying himself, he strayed from this ability and the force because of the strain it placed on him. - Jar'Kai/Niman: A balanced form, without weakness or strengths, but in the hands of a determined combatant it proved just enough. Unlike most that practiced Niman to just a certain point, Nero was determined. Knowing it exemplary to be capable of holding his own in battle, he took up another blade in a attempt to eliminate some of the weakness that came with it. - Telekinesis: The potential he has in the force is arguably profound but due to his family's wishes and their insistent suggestions, he has preferably stuck to studying politics and other concerns. While he is capable of the basics, push, pull, etc; he is average at the moment. - Precognition: Although lax and mostly unused, Nero's ability of predict and sense through the Force is notable. - Unarm Combat: Manuals of combat have been sent to him via his family over the years. He has studied them, thinking that in the process of combat he could lose his lightsaber. He has become efficient in the practice and use swift kicks and confusing motions to disarm his opponents. - Piloting: He knows enough to keep the craft airborne and out the line of fire. Though he lacks proper combative flight training. - Diplomatic: While he is capable of defending himself, he will always attempt to find a compromise outside of combat. A sit down where the opposing forces can talk and carry words as blades instead of weapons. - Droid Repair: Having his own personal droid around has warranted the youth to learning some skills when it comes to their maintenance. However, he has never had to repair Mercy.
Equipment:
- Two Green Lightsabers: They are practical in their design, being about the only thing that he had complete control over. Gold pieces accentuate the sterling silver, which are etched with spiraling designs. Each of these blades has the ability to be held with two hands shall one of them be lost. - Utility Belt: A metal belt filled with useful items. Grappling hooks, rationing capsules, a breather box, and his lightsabers is all that he has stored on his belt.
Psych profile:
Reluctant but chivalrous, timid but opinionated, cautious and prone to reckless acts of self-sacrifice; it is without reserve or tact to say that Nero is a bundle of contradictions. Being of royalty but never in touch with his family, his life had begun as such. He was expected to lead but was trained in the way of the Order to be a paragon for the Force. Uncertainty is a disease that fervently attacks him, leaving him to be easily swayed by others which is one of the reasons he joined Revan's cause. Without a doubt, he is a rare breed. He is direct and honest, almost incapable of telling lies. His life of taking in the emotions of others has made him raw but guarded.
History:
He was taken from his home world very early in his infant years. Just a toddler, it was obvious that he was force-sensitive by the small objects he would play with, floating around him as he oddly stretched out to grasp them with little fingers. His parents were quick to alert the Order to their son, to which he was inspected by Jedi Knight Onu Min and then taken to Bespin to undergo tutelage. Once he reached the floating Jedi Enclave, he was quickly placed into an Initiate Clan; The Bravefangs was the name it went by. He did not remain there for long. Over the next eight years, he grasped the three pillars of the Order quickly; the Force, Knowledge, and Self-Discipline. By normal standards he had been ready for the Initiate trials two years earlier than most, not exactly extraordinary but it showed the potential that hid behind uncertainty, the aloofness. When the Bravefangs instructor suggested he take the Initiate Trials, he could feel the approval rising in the man. Taking the trials were not as difficult as he believed it to be. The first was a simple matter of repeating the Code of the Jedi, the second, while a bit harder, was doable. The assignment was a demonstration of his Lightsaber skills. Being a practitioner of Niman, he twirled the blue lightsaber around the room in a dedicated balance of offense and defense, throwing in a harmless thrust or pull of the force in between the two as well. A few of the proctors were impressed; one of them was extremely analytically, almost to the last bead of sweat. His third and final trial proved to be problematic. At first it seemed his trial would be one of ease but he felt the cogs of the last one spinning. And it soon became a test of delving into the Dark Side. It was fear that convinced him into breaking his sheep-like mentality. He rejected the trial but as doubt and disappointment took hold of the proctors around him, he quickly accepted before their emotions could harden. No one was sure what exactly he faced in the trial but when opened his eyes more than three hours later, they were icy, lighter. After becoming a Padawan, Nero grew even more secluded from the Order. He just barely evaded the notice of his peers and while some had noticed, commented, and even attempted to coax him out with words; it usually fell on deaf ears. For most of his life he could feel the good intentions of others and after awhile, they had fallen short in effectiveness. He met his Master after a show of pent of up anger. A like-wise Padawan prodded him with a challenge and after he had discern the Padawan's actions as coming from malice, Nero declined. He sensed the Padawan's attack through his pride before he saw it and quickly dispatched the young near-human; leaving him with a broken arm. Upon lecture the next day, a Sentinel Jedi was waiting for him. This Twi'lek woman ended up becoming his Master. Like the ones before, Nero had attempted to decline the apprenticeship but his rejection was denied. Strained was the word that described the apprentice-master relationship between Jedi Watcher Rose Watter and himself. The Twi'lek had an acute sense when it came to discerning Nero's ability. She was one of the first to recognize his unique relationship with the force. His profound ability in the Force Empathy power. For years the two of them worked on him. She imbued in him a chivalrous heart through her inert kind gestures, watched and suggested he construct two lightsaber hilts instead of one, and was a witness to the creation of his lightsaber blades on Illum. Later on they would study adamantly in various advanced historical and philosophical areas, but Nero would never take to it like she had. He was later sent back to the Enclave on Bespin, due to a dangerous mission his Master have to attend to. He felt her demise two months later and knew she was dead. Soon afterwards Revan's call to arms came, heartbroken by his Master's death, a seventeen year old Nero is at first hesitant. But as more and more Padawan rally to arms and friends convince him heartily, he finds his feeling for revenge amplified and he insists on going.
Relationships and Acquaintances:

Joard Hethe: A man that he met occasionally due to their masters meeting with each other. After joining Revan's campaign the two of them were place together, Nero as the Knight's Padawan, and the Knight as Nero's Jedi Master. While he is bound to respect him due to the Jedi code, he can hardly see him as a master. But he will do so regardless.[/*]
Mercy: A custom made droid of the Acerbi family; he was sent to be a guardian and later became a companion to Nero. His main programming includes keeping the boy safe but does not fall short of being a nagging mother to him as well. His communication skills are superb, being built with a translator unit for speaking with all types of sentient beings. It is 6'0" in height, has a light blue shade to its plated body, white photoreceptors (visual optics), and a camouflage capability.[/*]
