The ride had a romantic setting to it, no wonder why this was the most popular ride for couples. It had stopped them at the top, like it always did. In the distance, the sun was setting, it could barely be seen now, lighting the sky up in shades of pink and purple and orange. It was quite beautiful. He stole a glance at Cassie and noted she was more beautiful then the setting sun. Feelings began to stir inside him, feelings he hadn't been to familiar with, not in awhile at least. He glanced back towards the setting sun when she began to turn her head. He smirked at his comment. "I agree." He said, his voice soft and not like him. He looked back over at Cassie and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Like you, for example." He said and leaned in, giving her a short and soft kiss on the lips before pulling back just slightly, smiling at her. "Me too." He joked with his signature smirk on his face. - - - Anya rolled her eyes, but laughed softly. "You're so right, Mr. Salvatore." She said. She glanced at the ride he was pointing out and just looking at it made her feel a little queasy. "I never liked those, probably the only ride I'd get sick on." She said and she grinned at him when he suggested games. "Oh, Damon, you wouldn't want to go against me. I'm a professional at carnival games." She said, holding her arms up like a champion would do. "You don't want to go against this." She said, pointing two of her fingers at herself. "But.. I guess if you have that much confidence in yourself.. we can certainly try." She said, her tone innocent and sweet as she put her hands behind her back and fluttered her eyeslashes at him.
