"Right then, let's get going since there's no sense hanging around here!" Secretly part of James's eagerness to keep moving on was due to the superhero battling that seemed to be going on nearby. It wouldn't make very much sense to have spent a full year evading everyone only to get caught in the end like that. So he started walking through the streets while stopping only to check up on the map from time to time and make sure Valeria wouldn't get too lost and could keep up with him through crowds and traffic. This was probably a good thing, as the routes he took to their destination involved a lot of direction changes and obscure turns. It didn't actually take very long to get to their destination this way, or at least not too much longer than it otherwise would have, but he had to make sure he weaved around areas where it was likely that anyone affiliated in any way with his parents or SHIELD might see him, not to mention that he was so used to dodging pursuit out of habit that he wasn't even conscious of doing it at times. Still, they made fairly good time and he tried his best to make all the twisting and turning easy for the girl he was supposed to be guiding, and according to everything he'd heard, the place they were going to was pretty amazing in terms of their food, and not just for hamburgers. "Sorry about all the direction changes, I wanted to make sure we avoided any heavy traffic and delays while we walked, but we're here now." That was true, in a way. If SHIELD or worse yet an enemy organization had found him, James was pretty sure their would be a very sudden increase in crowds and traffic and, depending on who found them and what happened after, a very, very long delay. Naturally now that they were here, James briefly scanned the restaurant then held the door open for Valeria and let her walk in first. Partially because his father had taught him to ALWAYS be a gentleman, and partially so if any enemy took time to attack him now, she would be in a place with some relative cover.
