Bailey followed Daryl as they scouted around the small house they found. Two walkers were making their way, stumbling towards them. Daryl took out one and Bailey grabbed her dagger out of its sheath and drove it through the side of the other walkers head, pulling it out and watching the rotten body fall to the ground. She wiped the dark blood on her jeans and headed back over to Daryl. Besides those two walkers, everything else looked fine and she joined Daryl in their previous spot. She smiled when he handed her the canteen. "Thank you." She said, taking a small sip of it before handing it back to him. "You sure the water is okay? I've heard of people turning by drinking contaminated water or food, from the deadies blood." She said to him and stole a glance his way. His hair was dark and covered his eyes, but his arms looked nice, and she noticed his vest. It was black, sleeveless, and on his back were angel wings. She looked back away when he told her she should get some rest when the next people on watch came out. "Same for you." She said, giving him a small smile. - - - Rick wrinkled his nose as he looked away. "I disagree. Remembering makes you weak." He said, looking over at Carl who was talking to Glenn, Maggie, and Beth. Hershel lay in another corner of the room, snoozing away. "I have to be strong, for my boy." He said softly. "He's strong for me, so I've got to be strong for him. We're all each other had left." He said as he thought back to the rough times they've encountered together. Over the last year and a half, Carl really had grown into a strong young man, now he was only a couple years away from being sixteen, and even though it wasn't how Rick would imagine spending his teenage years with him, at least he wasn't worried about him rebelling and partying and getting a girl pregnant. He looked back to Blake as she spoke of Bailey. "We've had to kill people.. to survive, to protect ourselves, and we're going to expect you two to do the same. These days.. it's hard to find people you can actually trust. We've had some that.. well, ended up being not who we thought they were." He said, thinking back to the lives he took, but wasn't proud of.
