Bailey nodded when he told her they boiled the water. Made sense. His next question took her a little off guard. She looked away and bit her lip, sighing softly. "Just one. It was an accident though. A few months ago, I was still freaked about the de- walkers, and I was paranoid. Blake went on a run with a couple other people, so I was at our safe place with one other person. A girl just a couple years younger than me. Walkers were outside the gates, and their scratching, dragging, and groaning was in my head. I was in a corner of a room, a gun in my hand.. she came in and I freaked, I raised my gun and shot her through her head." Bailey said, recalling the painful memory. "It was the worse feeling I've had ever experienced.. killing someone still living." Bailey said, sighing. "I wouldn't do it again, though. I can't do it again. I couldn't even when I came across the worse people, like the ones who tried to offer me up to the zombies.. killing someone already dead is one thing, but someone who is still alive with a heartbeat, that's another.." She said softly. - - - He listened to Blake. She was wise, and knew what had to be done to survive. Bailey might need some work, but he could see Blake could be a good asset to the group. When she brought up about switching watch, Rick nodded. "Yeah, it's about that time. I'll take watch with you." He said, going to stand up. Carl looked over at him and Rick just nodded, like they were communicating telepathically. He headed outside with Blake. "You guys get some rest." He told Bailey and Daryl. Bailey nodded and stood up, looking over at Daryl and giving her sister a small smile before going inside.
