Suddenly Jake found himself face first on the ground, slightly dazed by the sudden change in scenery. "Umm." He muttered outloud, silenced by a hand covering his mouth. "Shut up." Sky hissed, nearly as low to the ground as Jake had become. Slowly she relesaed her brother from her grip and drew her antique blades from their clips on her hips. Following her lead, Jake reached behind him to pull his shot gun from his pack, sitting up to a low kneel. He followed Sky's gaze down the street a ways, slightly movement barely seen from their current distance. "Can't tell, might be human." Jake rolled his eyes at her tone, inching forward to get a better look himself. "Might be... We should go-" "No." Jake turned around, not at all surprised by her quick response. Her eyes shifted down for a moment before back toward the movement, which seemed to be moving in their direction. "I don't want to take an uneccessary risks." Jake continued to stare at the girl, watching as her attention bounced between him and the unknown target. After a few moments of silence, Skylar growled and knelt down beside him. "Fine, but it comes to us."
