Devika gave Nick's hand a brief squeeze before pulling away. "If you insist, Nick." She had a feeling he wasn't being completely truthful. If he was able to just move on like nothing was wrong, then his reaction yesterday made no sense. There was no sense in forcing it. "I don't think I should eat, I feel-" A distinct fake-sounding cough caught her attention. She turned to find some boy she didn't recognize eyeing them. A polite smile graced her face. "May I help you?" -- Kijani headed for the cafeteria with bold strides, getting a protein heavy breakfast and a large glass of OJ. She spotted Connor amid the usual crowd, and went to him. "Connor, I-" Only then did she notice that he was fast asleep, a forkful of egg dangling precariously from his hand. "...heh." Slowly, she took the fork from him, lest he startle and stab himself in the eye. Then she put her tray down and softly kissed his forehead. "Damn, you even sleep cute." She then sat and started to eat, to leave Connor to wake on his own.
