I also see when Cassie reawakens that she knows there are hunters there looking for Anya, and after she sees Klaus and Caroline together, she realizes that Caroline was the one who started changing him. She is so heartbroken when she sees them together that she decides to turn off her humanity, and she contacts the hunter leader to reawaken her hunter half.
