I'm not saying that Gnar is completely in the right, but he does have an entire plot (probably) planned out for the beginning. If the GM doesn't like something about your application, then try to A) compromise, or B) work around it. Don't just completely argue about one thing. "It's an endemic trope, though!" doesn't make it okay. The fact is, if the GM doesn't want it, it's okay for him to deny it. It seemed to contradict with his entire plot that he worked out, but why am I even still writing it. Chances are they won't see it, so eh.

also I can't join this RP anymore because work is shortstaffed and I won't be able to do anything for the entire time when the RP starts.
