Samantha walked with the four of them to the cafe and once there, she let everyone order and pay before they all went to sit down and wait for the waitress to bring them the order. It was when she sat down that little Ada leaned over to her in a dramatic sort of whispering, saying she wanted to play Frozen again. Sam laughed softly and leaned forward as well to mock whisper back in the same way, "Next time you guys come to the Toy Store we can play Frozen as much as you want." She sat up straight after that and smiled as she watched little Finny playing with is toy while the two children seemed to go on and on about Disney. It seemed after finding out she liked Disney as well it left the children a gap for them to talk her ears off about it. But she didn't mind. She in fact quite enjoyed the change of pace and would listen very carefully to each excited thing that came from the two, nodding and commenting on what they had to say sometimes. It was really enjoyable. When she looked over to see Jamie sit down beside her and then thanking her for inviting them all, she smiled brightly and nodded, "It's no problem." When she said that, the drinks came, as well as some cookies for the kids to snack on as well, "There are plenty of good people left in this world. You just have to search for them sometimes. And sometimes you just run into them. That's life for you. Unexpected and unpredictable." Taking a sip of her hot coco she smiled and looked to the two children before looking back at him, "And I have to say, you and your sister are pretty good people as well. Not many people nowadays take the time to spend with kids like you two do. It's really good to see that." She paused to take another sip of her drink when a young man about their age approached, a grin on his face. "Well, looks like I'm just going to see you guys everywhere, huh?" Derek joked as he leaned over to look at the two kids, who recognized their father's friend and hopped up, throwing their arms around his neck, "Whoa there. Hey kiddos. Good to see you two too." The two giggled and sat back own in the booth as Derek looked to Chris and Carrington, "Good to see you two are enjoying yourselves. Maybe I can join you guys until--" "Yo! Simons! We're about to go on!" Derek sighed at the impatient call of the tech that ran the mics and such before he grinned at them, "Well, scratch that. Seems work calls. I'll catch up with you guys later." With that he was off, moving to the stage and setting up, adjusting the mic to his height and setting up his stool. Once he was all ready though, he began playing and singing, a smile on his face. The cafe was one mainly couples went to, so it made sense he woudl play one of the more romantic songs. "Forever can never be long enough for me To feel like I've had long enough with you Forget the world now, we won't let them see But there's one thing left to do Now that the weight has lifted Love has surely shifted my way Marry me Today and every day Marry me If I ever get the nerve to say "Hello" in this cafe Say you will Mm-hmm Say you will Mm-hmm Together can never be close enough for me To feel like I am close enough to you You wear white and I'll wear out the words "I love you" And you're beautiful Now that the wait is over And love has finally shown her my way Marry me Today and every day Marry me If I ever get the nerve to say "Hello" in this cafe Say you will Mm-hmm Say you will Mm-hmm Promise me You'll always be Happy by my side I promise to Sing to you When all the music dies And marry me Today and everyday Marry me If I ever get the nerve to say "Hello" in this cafe Say you will Mm-hmm Say you will Marry me." A lot of people clapped when it was done and it left him grinning as he took a sip of water to continue playing on his guitar and singing different songs in the background, enjoying the job he had as always. Samantha smiled and clapped when the song was done, speaking to really no one in articular, "Wow, that was a really great song. And sweet too. I'm surprised he's still playing here in the cafe and not on the big stage. I bet if a producer or someone like that heard him he'd be snatched up pretty quick." She took another sip of her drink and smiled at the two, "So, what do you two normally do besides buying out all the toy stores in town?" Which was half joking half serious as she really did want to know more about them and what they did on normal days.
