The story takes place long ago, on a distant desert planet called To'Ull. Here, life in all its shapes a sizes struggled for the rescources it needed, such a fresh food and water. However, the planet itself was alive, and angry at that. She bore forth a great sandstorm to dry out the water, and ravage all life. she spoke to her inhabbitants, trying to guide them to prosperity, but nobody ever listened, for their ears were not open. Hence, She would only ever help those who spoke to her first. When man first set foot upon the barren planet, it was for challenge. Man desired to conquer the planet, and all her natural challenges. Many men died, and few managed to scrape out a living upon her desolate surface. Nature whittled down man's numbers until but a small population survived. This small population was chosen for these people had innate gifts, often referred to as powers. Many of these survivors feared each other, and upon encountering each other, would fight, more often than not to the death. They fought for rescources, out of fear, or for personal reasons usually, but ultimately, everybody fought to survive. This unordered chaos continued for many years and many generations, until the planet was soaked in blood. One man saw this, and apologize to the planet for the ways of his race. The planet responded to his prayers, and told him to go forth, and unite the savage people. She said it was this man's responsibility to bring peace to the people, an that if he succedded, she would bear fourth water from which life would spring in abundance across the planet. And so the planet gave the man tools, with which to unite his people. She gave him the blood, which soaked her surface. With this blood, the man divided the planet's people into 4 great territories, with tribes within. The western tribes were filled with men and women who desired war. So they were given the canyons, from which great wars could be fought, and stories could be painted of such wars. To the east were a proud people, whom fought for glory amungst each other. The eastern tribes knew not of war, but duels, in which blood was spilt and glory was won. They recieved land where at night, the stars lit up, portraying their gods, such that they could make battle and tell their stories. To the north were tradesfolk. They did not seek conflict at all, but rather fortune. They were given mountains, on which they built great cities that stretched into the skies, and from which they could launch incredible space ships, to trade with the universe. The man when he was done, knelt and whispered to the planet once more. She was happy, for her people stopped fighting. She kept her word, and bore water, for all life to flourish from. From her oceans came great scaled beast, called dragons. They were to share the powers of nature, and watch over life upon the planet. The planet carried a scar, from her many angry years as a desert planet. Her southernmost side was a great dessert, where the sun baked what little water dared aproach, out of the sands. It was in this great desert that the man made his home, and a few followers joined him. They chose to bear the elements in humble tents, that they might never forget the power and wrath of the planet. The planet apreciated their thoughtfullness, and granted them her grace. She bore forth a lake of blood in the desert. It was the same blood that the man had used to unite the planet. Any who bathed in the blood lake would be cleansed of their powers, and given the planets blessing. Only the first man bathed in the blood, for he trusted the planet. The rest were fearfull. And he gained all of the planet's blood. Resultantly, he gained the ability to control the blood within him. He resultantly became known as the southern blood, and was forever known as the most powerfull man upon the planet. "K" grew old and died, but his children carried on the tradition. Over the generations, the entirety of the southern tribe, accept a small few, could control blood, for they were descendants of the original blood weiver. And so, the southern tribe became the southern blood.
Our RP would take place in the southern tribe, many generations later. Our people, stopped speaking to the planet, and she grew angry. So, she commanded the dragons to destroy all other life, for they had forgotten her and her grace. Along with the dragon attacks, the western tribes would begin attacking ALL the other tribes, to retain rescources, and survive. Our goal would be as missionaries, trying to get the ears of all people to listen to the planet once more, so tht peace may return. We would have wretched monsters, super powered people, warring tribal people, the elements, dragons, and each other trying to hinder our journey. Ultimately, the fate of all people upon the planet rest within our hands. To add spice to the story, We would find ancient libraries of "K," lost cities, underground temples, and entirely new races. This RP would be heavily focused on character interaction, with a secondary emphasis on the story mentioned above. The Rp would be open, not just in accepting characters, but open for people to input lore, and ideas, from which they can derive interesting and varied characters. The above story is one such example (i just so happen to be basing the first part of our rp on the events following this story. Objections, and better ideas are always welcome however.) Characters participating would be varied in many ways. They could have powers, of just about any sort, with restrictions in bloodweiving (id post the specificis for that in the actual RP, since its such an overpowered ability, time travel, an a few other small things. Ultimately, everybody would be very powerfull. Characters could also be of any race, so long as they can communicate with humans at least a little bit. Im looking for interest, ideas, and 2 co-gm's whom would be able to accept people to the rp, critique cs's, and help me drive the plot. Upon completing the main story, we would collectively create new ideas to keep the rp going.
