It's also not a small (or light) chain either. Since Herriman's forearm twisted to become the flail, the chain itself is as thick as his forearm. Fifteen feet of dense bone as thick as Herriman's muscled-up forearm is definitely not something that can be easily hefted around, especially when it's attached to the middle of the four foot sword you're trying to use with grace and finesse (or worse, as you'll find out in my post).
