She wouldn't be so much testing on others as herself. I also wouldn't put her that far ahead in her research. At 31 she had finally gotten a good handle on the healing others bit and it was still a great jeopardy to use the other skill. 

Then again if I lower her age but keep her character on a similar path then would she still need to be in the academy?
