Yelgir was in his cabin, trying to relax after the mission. It was technically a success. Jason's team had managed to board and destroy the enemy ship, as well as free one of the captured scientists, but the destruction of the Earth threw everything out of proportion. Yelgir knew that there was nothing the Dark Abyss fleet could have done to prevent it, even if they had known about the Xien Coalition's new weapon. The crew-members had dubbed this new weapon the Ragnarok Device, after Norse Mythology's tale of a battle that ends the world. The small android moved these thoughts to the back of his mind and stood up. The Fleet Commanders were working on a new plan, so Yelgir wouldn't be needed for a while yet. In the mean time, he had a project that needed some work. He approached the back wall of his cabin, and with a spoken command, the top half folded down to create a workbench. A rack of tools was revealed, as well as a large datascreen covered in blueprints and models. Magnetic clamps on what was now the surface of the workbench released, and the project was presented. The Targeting and Transmission device, or TnT, is attached to the top of a weapon, similar to a scope or laser sight. However, instead of looking down the barrel, TnT transmitted the targeting information directly to the operator, displaying the weapon's target in an eyepiece or helmet. It currently only worked for androids, but Yelgir was also working on a way for human operators to control the zoom and method of vision on the TnT.
