Race: Terran

Personality: Jake is always quick with a joke or quip when outside a mission. He is always smiling and laughing when lives are not on the line. Every other time he is serious and quick. He is loyal to a fault and tries to save people even when he can't or should not do so. He is very attached to his pets, always stroking them and talking to them. It is not odd to see him sitting by himself with the three of them just watching the stars. 

Class type: Handler

Powers:
 Neural interface: He can link with his pets to assist them or get real time intel. Since he is linked to them he can understand what they are thinking. 

Modified strength: He is stronger than the average human due to experiments that were done on him with the Program. He is not extremely strong but enough to lift things normal people would have trouble with. The highest he can do is one ton. However that is difficult. 

Enhanced reflexes: Use to help him be a better shot. This helps him be able to react quickly to the intel he gets. 
 
History: 
Jacob Mathers was born on the farming planet of Scorpia Maoris 3 in the constellation of Bootes. He lived the typical farm boy life of wanting more and to see the stars. His father had been a soldier but he left before Jake was born. Before he left he gave his wife his old rifle and told her to train their child since he could not be there. Jake's looks comes from his father and so did his wanderlust. He loved his home planet but he wanted more. 

So when the call came out for soldiers around his 16th birthday, he left at once with his father's rifle. For a year he was a scout until one day he was chosen for the Handler Program. The idea was that a human and up to three cybernetic animals could be linked together. The project was a success and Jake was one of the star members of the Pride, his unit. He managed to link to three different animals at once: two lions and a wild dog. Four years later he was honorably discharged and allowed to keep his "pets" since they were bound to him. He spent half a season home but he was not the farm boy he had been before. So he left and was offered a job with Tesera. He accepted but he still returns home every so often. 

How long: a year and a half.

Kubwa is much stronger and thus louder than Kimya. He is used for heavy strikes against an enemy. He is larger than Kimya. However she is far more stealthy than her mate and is used for stealthy take downs. They both have the power to crush a man's skull with their jaws. They both act like real lions would outside of missions, ie playing or napping. Jake has the skills to repair them both.

Wa very rarely leaves Jake's side. His use is to keep watch over his handler and make sure no enemies spot him as he is giving the Lions their orders. He can fight and is very nimble in a fight. He is not good at stealth since he panics unless he can smell Jake.
