Most of the NPCs are big maybes considering their prevalent place in others' histories. Also note that I'm only posting such a skeleton of a sheet due to the PM system really not liking me for some reason right now. Also note that Sloth has a very, very, very limited knowledge of the Marvel universe (Spider-Man and rogues are really about it.), and as such, he apologizes if he fucks absolutely everything up. Footage of Shang-Chi handling some New York thugs. Player Name: Sloth Character: Shang-Chi, Master of Kung-Fu [s]and Bruce Lee's reanimated corpse[/s] Moral Alignment: Hero Affiliation: Former Operative of The Hand, Monk of the K'un-L'un Temple Origin: Powers and Abilities: Master Martial Artist - Born into The Hand, Shang-Chi has been trained practically since birth to become a master of hand-to-hand combat, and has a number of armed and unarmed styles in his repertoire, ranging from Wushu to Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, Capoeira, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, and Judo. While he is certainly seen more commonly using nothing but his own fists, Shang is more than capable of using a variety of weapons, from a simple Bo staff to nunchaku and tonfa. Chi Manipulation - He does low level Iron Fist punches and shit. (To be expanded later) Medical Expertise - He's also a beast on egg-rolls and fishing. Sample Story Arcs: The City of Opportunity - Soon after opening, Izo's Restaurant is visited by rather unpleasant guests who offer the man's business a protection plan. Rather than let the men continue with their shakedown or letting Izo deal with them himself, Shang decides to send a message to whoever the thugs' boss might be, and thoroughly dispatches them. This causes encounters with a number of New York's crime lords, most notable among them being the Kingpin and Luchino "The Count" Nefaria. The Hand's Grasp - After dealing with a multitude of shenanigans in the Big Apple, The Hand discovers Shang-Chi's whereabouts and finally expands its operation into the United States to hunt him down, sending some of their top operatives to apprehend and eliminate him. Crossovers Galore - Like, he'll hopefully be involved in New York shenanigans with people, right? Join a Team - Because, really, there's only so much Bruce Lee-ness I can pump out by myself. Character Notes: Master Izo - Shang's mentor and the only other survivor of the K'un-L'un Temple, Master Izo is a blind man who has supposedly lived for hundreds of years through unknown means, as he abandoned The Hand following Kagenobu Yoshioka's death and founded a Temple in Tibet. Sought out by Shang following his own falling out with The Hand, Izo now runs a Chinese Restaurant in the borough of Manhattan in New York City which Shang-Chi currently works for. Keniuchio Harada - The current head of The Hand and the man who personally assaulted the K'un-L'un Temple in Tibet and burned it to the ground, Keniuchio Harada is a descendant of one of the original founders of The Hand, and as such his name alone carries a great deal of weight across Asia. A ruthless criminal mastermind, Zheng Zu - Shang's father and head of the Chinese branch of The Hand. (More to be added) Shen Kuei, The Cat - Moving Shadow - Black Mamba - Fah Lo Suee - Matsu'o Tsurayaba - Sample Post: Coming soon, I hope. Do tell if I should abandon all hope of making Kung Fu noises and revert back to Norse Mythology shenanigans in Asgard.
