Name: Angron Species: Trandoshan Age: 23 Rank/Title: Tactical Consultant Planet of Origin/Birth: Dosha Force Sensitive Y/N: No. Appearance: Standing at just under two meters tall, Angron's scales are a dark brown color; So dark that it's only possible to see the large amount of scars and scar tissue that seem to be present over almost all of his body under a bright light. Despite being a little shorter then most of his kind, Angron's well toned body suggested a great deal of raw strength to call upon in a fight. Angron's armor is not standard issue for the republic armed forces. It has a slightly 'pot luck' look about it, the different parts clearly not belonging to the same set. Each part was selected because it was the best that the trandoshan could buy/trade/steal for at the time being. To give himself some form of professionalism, he has painted his armor a rather dull and deary gray in order to help him blend into his surroundings. Angron often goes into battle wielding a chalon sword, a knapsack of explosives and a flamethrower kept in reserve. Skills/Abilities/Talents/Training: - Several years of mercenary work. - Demolitions. -Slaver tactics -Connections to the black market. Flaws: - Considered Untrustworthy - No force powers. - Somewhat distant from those he is working for. - Expendable asset. Equipment: - One full set of 'It's not pretty, but it does its job better then yours' armor - One chalon sword. - One flamethrower. -A large knapsack. - A number of explosive devices the make, model and type varying on the job ahead. Psych profile: During his first job, Angron suffered a conflict of faith. Either you could be honorable, proud and attempt to gather major points with the Scorekeeper before you died horribly, or you could be a little less honorable, a little less brave and earn a paycheck... as well as earning some points with the Scorekeeper on the side. Angron decided to go with the second course of action, earning two wookie pelts that were slightly burned and somewhat tattered due to the use of explosives and since then he has never looked back. The more honorable and proud might call Angron a shifty, cowardly little bastard for his somewhat dishonorable tactics and unwillingness to get caught in a fair fight unless it was stacked in his favor. Angron himself would dismiss these claims as the insults of naive fools who don't understand that honor is meaningless to the dead and dismembered; War is not some grand adventure in which the enemy is going to get a good flogging and everyone is going to be going home in time for the holidays. Telly ho and what not! Despite the fact that patriotism worried Angron like any other viral plague that could be named, he'll put his discomfit aside for the sake of the paycheck. History: Angron was born on Dosha in a clutch of eggs, surrounded by his brothers and sisters. Born into a small but successful clan of slavers, Angron was given a pretty well rounded education alongside his siblings. While the clan wasn't afraid to look out for the well being of one another, some lessons were delivered a lot more hardheartedly then others and not all of Angron's siblings survived to reach their teenaged years. On the crisp of young adult hood, Angron's father Dussk started to bring Angron and his siblings along on raids to pick up slaves and other things of value with the rest of the clan. Often targeting small, relatively lightly defended Wookie settlements, Angron's role in the raids often came down to sneaking in under cover of darkness and rigging up numerous explosives around the settlement (Targeting defensive and communication equipment first and foremost) before setting them off and spreading chaos for the rest of the clan to take advantage of. While Angron performed his duties rather well, Angron's habit of also setting up charges on buildings that housed Wookie warriors was met with mixed responses; While doing so helped ensure the raid was successful due to the Wookies being less able to defend themselves, killing such fine Wookie specimens in a way that heavily damaged their pelts meant less profit and points for their raids. This came to a head during the four raid. Angron rigged up the Wookie barracks as he normally did, himself and the clan unaware that the Wookie barracks also doubled as their ammo dump. The resulting explosion was much bigger then expected, wiping out a third of the settlement and heavily damaging their profits from the raid as well as alerting the neighboring settlement that something was wrong. The clan was only able to abduct a third of the remaining Wookies before overwhelming aid from the neighboring settlement arrived and they were forced to flee with what they had. While it was generally agreed by most of the clan that what happened was an unforeseeable accident, they had to be seen delivering punishment in order to save face with the other clans. Angron was forbidden from taking part in future clan raids until he was a full adult by the clan leader, whom also ritually cut off one of Angron's hands in order to make up for the loss of profit from the botched raid. For his part Angron understood why this had to happen and accepted it, waiting patiently for his hand to grow back and for his sixteenth birthday before requesting permission from the clan leader to go and become a mercenary in the galaxy at large. The request was accepted and Angron was was given some gifts from the clan to give him a good head start in his career. Angron has been a mercenary for at least seven years now, collecting a number of scars and stories along with paychecks and salvage. When the Mandalorian Wars began, Angron made sure that his contacts would ensure that the Republic would have an easy time finding his name and number if they had any work for him. As the war started to go against the Republic and the situation started to turn dire, Angron was contacted and details were work out. The Republic might have been forced by the situation to start taking on mercenaries to try and supplement their forces on a number of fronts, but admitting such a thing to the general public would revel just how bad the situation had become and just be another cause of unrest; Instead of hiring mercenaries, the Republic had officially started hiring a number of experienced consultants in order to provide aid and advice to their forces spread out over a number of theaters of war. Angron is one such consultant who was quickly assigned to IRSOG 37. Relationships and Acquaintances: Members of his clan.
