Okay, okay, this is the semblance and weapon of a teacher I made yesterday. I'm just... Before Nef cruelly breaks it down and calls me a worthless noob hobo, I just want to know if this is... a little... OP. *Cough* It's a teacher, keep that in mind. His name isn't pronounced Alan, but just... for the sake of Gaelic speaking people everywhere, just pronounce it Alan.
Weapons/Equipment/Armor: Doppelgänger A giant, halberd like double-edged battleaxe. It's purely golden, with tinges of dark, emerald green dotted around like moss on a tree, airy and sparse. The edges come down a third of the way on the staff, which stands high above Ailein himself. It has intricate, Celtic and Arthurian designs trimmed and embedded into just about ever part of the ax, the blades being symmetrically designed. On the butt of the ax is a large spear tip, that ejects at high speeds to impale single opponents and reels them in for Ailein to basically finish them off. The same can be done with the head of the ax, though that's a less used mechanism in its full form. The battleaxe can be snapped in half, to form a longsword and makeshift flail, the chain mechanism found on both sides being used more frequently in Doppelgänger's flail and sword form. Doppelgänger was designed with full body armor in mind, making both the armor and battleaxe one in the same. Both the armor and the battleaxe feed off of Ailein's aura, imbuing themselves with just about every last drop of it to effectively use it to make him a more formidable foe. Every hit dealt to Ailein empowers the ax's blows, though the ax itself isn't necessarily special alone, lacking most weapons' lethalness, due to the lack of usual augmentations. Both the sword and the armor are antiques, heirlooms, handed down and only recently modified and lightly so by Ailein's father. The aura absorption is only a recent addition and only out of pure accident, as Ailein hadn't known the exact extent of his own semblance until he was provided physical evidence during his years as a student at Beacon. Semblance: Chaucer's Undying A light greenish blue aura, Ailein's semblance is purely defensive in nature. At his apex, Ailein is able to take wounds that would otherwise kill or seriously maim him without so much as a flinch or acknowledgement, no hesitation in whatever he's doing. Seconds later, as the aura wraps around the wound, it will almost instantly regenerate anything that has been cut, sliced, or pulverized and can, in dire cases, expend every ounce of Ailein's aura to revive him, should he ever cease to live or exist. It works like adrenaline and Ailein is never able to actually call upon it, but it is more than reliable and works in and of itself, as if a whole other person. It works amazingly well with his battleaxe, Doppelgänger, in redirecting his wounds to his opponents. In fact, the battleaxe is purely designed to take advantage of this semblance and, in effect, making every hit that an opponent makes double edged. Since it works a lot like adrenaline, after it wears off and Ailein is no longer in battle (or if he has battled for too long) it will completely deplete his aura and leave Ailein completely exhausted. This is a drawback that he is unable to fix and probably will never be able to fix. Even the slightest use will, after the boost wears off, leave him fully depleted, so he makes the best of it and will, when fighting, go all in at any interval whenever it is called far, making him unhesitating and decisive in combat. A nearly invincible opponent, it is simply required to simply take a small stab at the man and wait him out as best as one can to see the consequences and drawbacks of his semblance, knowing this, Ailein has taken precautions and is an extremely aggressive combatant, relentless in his pursuits and never stopping until fully necessary. The semblance has one special feature, being so prominent and, some would even say radiant, it extends itself to anything Ailein touches. The same effects register to the objects as they would to Ailein, meaning if anyone ever decided to bring harm to an object that was physically touching Ailein, it would regenerate as if it were Ailein itself. This still drains him and more so should he be touching a person or more than one person. Any weapon in Ailein's grasp is given the same effect, however, when used in offense, it can generate the damage done to Ailein or anything touching Ailein into its swings, shots, slashes, etc. to deal the damage that was dealt and the actual damage that it could previously do. (Damage Dealt to Ailein/Ailein's Objects + Weapon Damage = Augmented Damage) Essentially, any offensive attack from anything being held by Ailein has the same effect. His fists count.
If you were stupid enough to take AP English, then... well, no, my AP English teacher was eccentric and we kind just read whatever she felt like making us read. Sir Gawain and the Green Knight was one of those and, if you read it, then I'm sure you'll understand what I pulled from the story. I know Gawain =/= Green Knight. I just want to know if there's anything that needs clarifying or if I need to tone something down... possibly quite a bit. *Cough* Because I think Nef may have died and needs resurrecting and I'm bored and antsy.
