Welcome (Sage's new favorite),
Name: Kiara Riel Age: 22 Gender: Female Birthplace: Ecos, Henele Current Home: Kell, Gaia Personality: The rough transition from Henele to Leginia left Kiara without a sense of belonging in the new continent. Instead of acting as carefree and spirited as she had with her friends from a young age, she was shy and defensive around the new children around her. They would tease her for her bajan accent, often leading to backlashes from Kiara. She often never made friends because of moving around so much, which left her with an aloof, uncaring attitude when it came to school and other children. This attitude wasn't close to the old carefree attitude. It was more bitter, and she came to find that she had a tendency to dislike the Leginian people. The frustration led her to disobey. She would skip school and find misfits like herself to skip with. This often got her in trouble, but she wasn't in one place long enough to get any real punishment for it. The disappointment from her parents, and the glares of the kids at school continued to push Kiara away from society. By the time she was in highschool, she had a realization that she wanted to control her own life again. She became determined to succeed and found her passion in taking care of others. She didn't care what others thought of her anymore. After visiting Henele again, she returned to Leginia as a different person. Her spiritual ways had been renewed, allowing her to release the anger and frustration she had felt before. She finally felt free. Bio: Kiara grew up in the lovely little town of Ecos, Henele. The cozy little coastline town offered many cultural and spiritual gatherings, schoolings, and adventures. In Ecos, everyone knew anyone that lived there. Its close-knit community and jungle setting allowed Kiara to grow up in a carefree, relaxed way. Her mornings would begin with a lovely breakfast with parents, then she would go out and play at the beach for a while with her friends. She would go to her classes and learn all about the history of Henele. At the end of her day, the entire community would gather around the bonfire of the beach and they would stay out late while dancing and cooking the wide variety of fish and shellfish found in the waters of the ocean. This cycle would repeat throughout the six years that Kiara lived in Henele. Soon after she became six years old, her father announced to the village that he had been asked to work in Leginia in order to be a corologist. Kiara's world was uprooted in a matter of days. In Leginia, they never stayed in one place for very long. The strict schedule and lack of community of this new country was strange and difficult for Kiara to adjust to. She was no longer allowed to wander her town alone, and dinner was lonesome, with just her mother and father sitting at the table. The teasing from the other children about her differences led her to rebel against the standardized, foreign teachings. When she wasn't being chastized or bullied, Kiara would sit alone and wish with all her might that she was just having a nightmare that would end soon. By the time Kiara was in high school, she was aloof and distant. She didn't partake in any of the school's social activites and was often on her own. During lunch she would go out with the other misfit children and smoke under the bleachers. She found some belonging with the crowd, but they weren't the people that she wanted to associate with. She wanted to be with her fun-loving, spirited friends again. Not these dull, lifeless city kids. This led her to ask her parents if she could visit Ecos over the summer. They would only allow her on the condition that she would do well in school. With a newfound determination, Kiara suddenly excelled in her classes, getting better grades than she had before. By the end of her second high school year, Kiara was allowed to return to Henele. In Henele, Kiara was welcomed back to Ecos as if she hadn't left. Her summer was spent finding her freedom of the spirit and mind, and also finding ways to cope with the different culture of those in Leginia. By the time she had returned to Leginia, Kiara's mind was at peace. She began to focus on her grades, and even made a few friends in the new school she was put in after her parents moved again. Kiara graduated with decent enough grades to be able to apply to one of the top Pre-Med colleges in Kell, Gaia. She now lives a small house her parents bought her.
