The two adults seemed to be a little surprised that she owned she shop; they had assumed she was a niece of the late owners or something. The kids seemed disappointed that Samantha had to leave already but the kept quiet and didn't make a fuss like some kids would have. They were quiet kids until it came to singing, or trying to make music, then they became little sound monsters. They waved to Samantha and went back to drinking their cocoa and whispering to each other. "It was nice meeting you, Sam." Cari said before taking another drink of her own cocoa. She watched her niece and nephew for a few minutes before checking her phone to see if Reinier had called. She had a bad habit of turning the ringer off and would miss calls like mad. He hadn't called her or sent her a text so she assumed he was busy with something. Jamie smiled, "Yeah..See you later." He was always a little bit awkward around females in general. He sighed and turned back to his sister and kids before smiling slightly. "Did you two have fun?" "Yeah!" Both of the kids said; each had a little hot cocoa moustache and Jamie couldn't help but chuckle. "Alright you three, I want a picture." Cari said as she pulled out her phone again. "Come on Jamie, smile this time!" The kids had climbed over to their dad and were sitting in his lap with large smiles on their faces. Jamie gave the camera a smile and soon Cari had enough photos. Maybe she could ask Samantha to do some family portraits. It had been years since their last one. Jamie had work tomorrow so Cari and Reinier were going to watch the kids before going over to Cari's parents' house for lunch. They hadn't met Reinier yet so tomorrow was going to be a big day for them. "What's got you thinking so hard?" Jamie asked as he helped Finny tie his shoes. "Just thinking about stuff I need to get done for tomorrow." Cari smiled. Jamie nodded and soon they decided it was time to leave when the kids were beginning to get sleepy.
