I certainly hope that you get accepted: I love your writing! However, your character might also be a bit on the OP side: he has better versions of powers that some of the other characters have, and then MORE! I'm mainly speaking to the telepathy aspect, which really isn't a big part of your character, and honestly I think would be fine to remove completely. If he can read people's minds at will, then he encroaches on other characters' useful areas. His useful area is his linguistics and possibly his exceptional memory, so I just don't think that he needs the extra power of mind reading (a generally player-unfriendly ability, anyway) to keep him relevant.
