@Nosuchthing: Looks good so far; however, I have a few things that I would like changed to fit the "lore" of this RP (see on the first post). 1st, note that the general public has only been aware about super-humans (both mutants and mutates - i.e. Spider-Man, Hulk, Daredevil, etc.) since 2010. Currently in the RP, it is 2012. Your application was vague on Rogue's age. It does mention that she was 13 when her powers manifested, but there is nothing telling me how old she is at the current date. This is important because that would determine Rogue's father's reaction to the manifestation of Rogue's powers. If she was 13 in or after 2010, then her origin is fine. However, if she was 13 before 2010, you will have to alter the origin. However, with that said, if the latter is true (she was 13 before 2010), then all you need to do is edit the wording. While her father might not hate her because she is a "mutant", because that term has not been 'invented" yet, he could still hate her for her powers. This would be a very easy change to make. And you can be creative with it. What would someone in society call someone who has manifested powers that have caused harm towards others? 2nd: Ms. Marvel. While she might be a too big of a character to make an NPC, I guess your application does not prevent anyone from picking her up as a character. So this part is fine. But again, age is a factor (for many reasons). First, just be mindful that most super-humans started their careers in 2010 or later. This does not mean that they did not have their powers before that, but they started began to fight crime around 2010-11. This again is fine. Ms. Marvel could be in any year of her career (1, 2, or 3). However, her tie with Spider-Man is a little problematic. Don't get me wrong, if Peter isn't with Mary Jane Watson (who I plan on getting together with Peter in this RP), I would so support a Peter-Carol matching. If we are assuming Ms. Marvel is around her age in the 90's X-Men cartoon, which I would guess would be late-20's at the youngest (and that is a stretch) and mid-30's at the oldest, she would be too old to have a relationship with Peter (who is between 17-18, since he is a junior in high school). Peter also has been in a relationship with Gwen until she died tragically. I liked the ideas, but unfortunately, they don't quite fit. However, I believe that if we work together, we can work something out. A possible work-around for this second issue is to have a teenage Ms. Marvel (similar to the current one, Kamala Khan, but having Carol be around her age). This would fix the 20-30 year old having a crush on a high-school student. Then, just like in the comics, Carol could have feelings for Spider-Man, but never really act upon them. Maybe a couple team ups in the past, but nothing more than friends (just like Firestar) since Peter was already dating Gwen. Now that Carol is in a coma, this could add onto Peter's already crappy life of tragedies (death of parents, uncle Ben, Captain Stacy, Gwen Stacy, and now Ms. Marvel is in a coma). Let me know what you think of these ideas. My Spider-Man application is one the first page. Either just scroll down or follow the hyperlink to see it just for reference. If we can fix these few points, I can start the 24-hour timer. Edit: I hope I did not just rain on anyone's party. :( I am flexible with the story and will work with you to make sure it works. Edit 2: Looking back over your application, I just realized I overlooked the part of the sample post that made it clear that she was college aged (I assume somewhere between 18-23).
