Hey, if this isn't your thing, it's not your thing, but I don't really think you can be very critical of the 'logic' when you scaled a roof, gave a speech, swung out a window, built a set propelled cart and then surveyed the town a castle in less time than the Town Hall meeting took place. If you'll look over the amount of time it took for those discussions to take place, you achieved 6 hours work, (including hammering, carrying wood, unhooking trailer hitches on cars with (I'm assuming) a wrench, scaling rooftops and the bell tower of a church) in less than 10 minutes.Jed's an idealist, sure, but he didn't Assassin's Creed his way to and from his bed. Now granted, you apparently know some free-running, but I don't see how that makes you an Ezio/Knuckles the Echidna hybrid. If you this isn't what you thought it was, then you just need to say so. You don't need to insult the people here.
Actually those are all pretty viable and I spent several hours doing them in game time... You may have noticed that I arrived back at the place at night, because I assumed you guys were taking several hours to talk. also, a second story window is actually a real simple climb. i didnt climb the damn empire state building I climbed one story. Not hard. like a novice learns that shit man. Unhooking trailer hitches doesnt require a wrench unless theyre old hitches or theyre locked for some reason, which some are, still not unreasonable. And the self-propelled cart thing? It's basic science. Tension in the rope would provide circular motion, The wood would have had a draw weight of around three hundred pounds per wheel per second. They wouldnt have been fast, but they would have worked. Learned about it in shop. Furthermore, I wasnt insulting the people here. I was stating very clearly that it wasnt what the GM said it was when he first posted the idea, and I left the game non-confrontationally. To conclude, I used several hours, read my posts, they were specific about the amount of time I was using. I climbed one story. ten feet and that does not make me Ezio, and this was my thing before, and I was disappointed to find it ruined by bad story construction.
