As Tsubaki studies this mysterious artifact, she finds it to be rather boring. Originally presenting an interesting mystery, as she had not recognized the technology from any of the many planets she had visited, which was intriguing in and of itself. Then there was the fact that it had Drac's name scratched onto the surface. This subtle clue made it fairly obvious that something was going on, and more than likely this artifact held the key to some important mystery or piece of information that would aid in the solving of some puzzle. Perhaps there were lives on the line, perhaps more than a few. However, despite all this, as she studiously examined and dismanteled the device, she found that it was a complete waste of space. The compound seemed to resemble that of a solar panel, or some other form of energy absorption plate. It definitely functioned on electricity, and was for the rest incredibly low-tech, nothing revolutionary about it. However, the stupidest thing was that this thing didn't even work, for some reason the area where normally focusing lenses would be placed was filled with a couple of useless salt-like substances. Absolutely pointless in every regard. Whomever had designed this was obviously a clueless moron, with no idea how to create anything worthwhile.Of course, then there was one last thing. She would have liked to discard it at this point as junk, however she had always been a methodical person. She followed all regulations, and that included scanning it for dimensional anomalies. And the results were stunning. This thing was tethered, through the fabric of reality, creating a tiny rift in and of itself, although not large enough for matter ot pass through, that could transmit energy. With the right machinery, this could quite easily be expanded, following this trail through the as-of-yet unbreachable walls around one of the Mystery Dimensions. These were worlds that could not be entered with conventional interdimensional travel, locked off from outsiders.
Tsubaki grins widely, as she drops a pair of wielding goggles down onto her face, as she begins to work. She starts to construct this gate way to a new world, dis-assembling other portal devices, re-configuring them, and creating something...epic in scope. Soon, she drags the materials outside, before her workshop, as she keeps working, building...a gate. As she worked, another thing appeared to help her, a creature able to mend together this tech, and who knew of the plight of drac, and his ilk.....but who, well, that's a surprise.....Soon, Tsubaki calls her allies, Bug and Mithias, and tells them of her findings, and to return to her workshop.
