Duncan had been there most of the morning. He wasn’t the biggest sleeper in the world so as soon as he awoke, he was up and relocating to Avengers Tower. It was definitely a far cry from the Frost estate in Scotland. Before, he lived in a massive country manner with no other company than his butler whom he never used. Now he was in New York, a city that rarely slept and more advanced than most places across the globe. This was his type of place. “Mr Perfect” was it said on his nameplate, he hated it. In Duncan’s eyes, he was very much far from perfect, not that he wasn’t trying. Every day was just another day to better himself. He ran his fingers across the door and watched as his biometrics were scanned and the door unlocked. There was similar technology at the SHIELD Operations Academy he had attended not too long ago. “Codename: Mister Perfect. Avenger Apprentice. Identification Verified. Welcome to Avengers Tower Mister Frost” A voice came over the tannoy to welcome him. He entered the room and a rare genuine smile crossed his lips as he looked at the personalised room. Nothing fancy in there, a large bed, a shower, a walk in wardrobe, a laptop and wall dedicated to every weapon that Duncan had ever wanted to use or try. He could get used to this. He glanced at the large mirror on the wall, it was strange for Duncan to be looking at himself in his civilian clothes. He had spent so much time in a trainee uniform that he almost forgot his own style. Throwing his jacket off to the side, he nodded at his reflection. He filled out the dark long sleeve t nicely, his jeans scuffed but styled. After a few more moments of admiration, Duncan placed his iPod om charge in the corner. It was a strange habit, he liked to kill people to a soundtrack. About an hour later, he heard a few nearby doors open and close but he didn’t bother to move from his own person work bench. People could wait, he was too busy polishing his wrist mounted blades. Then the voices began to ring out and Duncan knew he couldn’t ignore them any longer. With a great sigh he stood up and left the room, descending the stairs next to his Mentor Clint Barton’s room. “Well, this is cozy” He sauntered in. “I guess we’re going to be teammates”
