Ariel smiled and nodded, feeling a burning sensation well up in her eyes. She was aware that she might not see Sabine again after tomorrow, but was trying to put off her emotions until she got to the docks. Hearing that she was an integral part of Sabine's recovery, however, was not only validating, it felt like a true forgiveness. By the time Meesei finished explaining about a possible method of long distance communication by enchantment, Ariel's eyes had reddened and she blinked a tear from her eye. She cursed herself for not being able to hold back. "Meesei, that would be wonderful, but I understand. Just make sure to write letters at the very least," Ariel approached Meesei and gave her another hug. She sniffed and held her tightly, "And continue being a wonderful guardian for my sister." After a few more moments, Ariel pulled back and held Meesei's upper arms with a sad smile. "It means a lot to hear that I helped her recover." Ariel brought the back of one hand up to her nose, sniffed again, then stepped away. "Go on, I'll save my tears for tomorrow. I will see you later, Meesei." Ariel made a small gesture with her other hand to seemingly shoo Meesei off. "Goodnight."
