Gina had spent the majority of the race sticking behind Mueller's Z4, applying pressure from the rear and assisting Ryan in his lead. As they completed yet another lap, she had come across the ever-familiar Turn 1 of the Yas Marina circuit. Her style of driving took less of a toll on the tires, so it definitely helped her when it came to keeping up the pressure. She didn't go all out, instead taking apart someone piece by piece and allowing her car to be in the condition to execute whatever it was she needed to in order to gain the advantage over her opponent. As she went onto a straight, she could see Ryan holding his lead over Mueller just fine. She was fine staying in third place, but based on the way Ryan was driving - his tires were going to be done soon. As they crossed the 20th lap, the sky was pretty much pitch black and the track was illuminated with the bright lights of all the cars occupying the track. Muller had fallen behind Regina in the time that they had raced, holding a comfortable second place behind Ryan's R8. The sound of Lucas's voice came over the radio as she maintained a steady pace behind her teammate. She had learned Ryan was going to pull into the pits soon, making her retake the lead and carry Ryan's pressure on her shoulders. "Understood. I'll make sure to increase your lead." Gina replied, as she decreased the pressure just a bit to make sure her tires would last the next few laps or so before she would have to undertake Ryan's lead. As they went through the chicane together. Gina saw that Ryan's R8 kicked out a bit, but quickly got that back under control. That mishap allowed her R8 to progress a bit further onto Ryan, which should make it easier for her to take over the lead once the time came.
