She was a second child; the first was a boy who was ten years older than her named Kyousuke. Naomi use to have the smallest and brightest smile, one that would make strangers heart quiver and want to give her things or make her parents want to spoil her with hugs and kisses. It was the smile she wore when she first attended primary school, when she first held a daito and shoto, and when she first kissed a boy on the cheek. It was also the smile she plastered on her face when her father divorced her mother, when she was alone at home while her mother worked, and when they had to sell their house and move to the city. After a while the smiling just become too hard, so she stopped. Once she stopped smiling, people walked away and left her alone to her silence. She began smoking, getting into fights, cutting class, and well, filling in. Her mother scolded her, and she talked back until one day her mother decided to walk out. Apparently not watching your daughter was better than watching her destroy herself. By the time she entered Chiharu High School she was a 5' 10, fairly good looking, chain smoking delinquent who kept to herself and earned a rogue status. She was still a girl of course and girls her age needed money, so she juggled jobs. She also unknowingly itched for company. That's when she met him. He was an idiot. A smooth, smart, and kind idiot. He also had a nice umbrella. He was good with women, and even better at handling shinais. What she remembers of him were fond things. She remembered his sisters. She remembered Kendo. She remembered lying to herself. She remembered how she longed for his attention with a desperation that had almost pulled her back into her solemn self that he had saved her from. She also remembered her. A foreigner who was a brilliant blonde, with a caring and strong personality. Her hair smelled like wealth, if wealth had a smell. She was a light drinker. She was so sweet and loving under that tough exterior. Naomi envied her at times. She also had a brother. She would have sworn he was a gigolo if they weren't so well off. He was very handsome however, the “epitome” of masculinity. The three of them were club mates before they were friends. They drank illegally, challenged artery clogging food challenges and fought for nationals. Naomi was happy. Time passed. Things changed. Life moved on, and so did she. Weeks after graduation she had decided to leave Japan and head to the states to live with her brother. Despite the blonde's pleas and how she could help her financially, Naomi decided it was best to move. At the airport she kissed her farewell and exchanged an awkward hug from him. E-mails were exchanged, along with parting gifts and promises to keep in touch. Naomi wished them well. They wished her well. And like that, she left.[/hider] Naomi moved to the United States after graduating from Chiharu High School, living with her brother who was a police detective. He didn't make much money, but that didn't really matter. Kyousuke had a tough time connecting to his delinquent younger sister, but he did. Naomi's lack of direction in life and overall stern personality was turned into inspiration by Kyousuke to get Naomi training to become a police officer. Naomi, who was reluctant to the idea at first, eventually warmed up to it. She didn't want to work for the state or government, so she had the idea that perhaps she could set up a private security company (she would still have to work for the government to begin with of course). It was an idea that finally gave purpose to Naomi's life. It was through her pursuit of her dream that she met virtual reality. It gave her opportunities to practice fire arms and combat without actually battering her body, not that she mind of course. Paring this along with actual training given to her by her brother and his coworkers, Naomi slowly snaked the path of life. The VRMMORPG hype had caught her interest. Seeing how it had combat, and this time with real people, Naomi was interested, and to her surprise, found a copy of the game in her mailbox the day of its release (she had a good idea who it was from). On Overclocking Brute Force gains the additional ability to increase the damage of consecutive spells cast by a certain percentage. Cooldown starts after the 5th hit is delivered.[/b] Durations: Five attacks. On Overclock Five attacks/spells. Cooldown: 10 seconds at all ranks. (1/5) 2.5% damage increase per hit. Stuns the target for .2 seconds. On Overclock: 1.25% damage increase per cast, same stun duration. (2/5) 5% damage increase per hit. Stuns the target for .4 seconds. (Active)[/b] [b][i]The Augmentor's ability to surge objects with immense amounts of energy makes finding a temporarily weapon extremely easy. Sadly, there has yet to be a weapon that can withstand the amount of energy the Augmentor is capable of feeding, most tend to blow up on it. The Augmentor longs for a weapon that can live up to it's potential.[/i][/b] Upon activation the Augmentor powers up the currently equipped weapon, effectively increasing it's base stats by a percentage. The weapon's durability permanently decreases by 10%. The weapon cannot be destroyed while Charged Up! is active. If the weapon is destroyed after use, % of the damage dealt by the weapon is released as true damage to all targets in the radius, including the caster (Bre@k Down!). When overclocked Ch@rged Up! deals percentage of the enemy's missing HP and heals her half the amount as oppose to receiving additional stat increases and blowing up. Duration: 10/15/20/25/30 seconds. Cooldown: 60 seconds at all ranks. (1/5) 5% increase to weapon's base stats. If weapon is destroyed, 10% of the damage dealt is released as true damage. 1% of missing HP, 50% of damage dealt by Ch@rged Up! is healed. (2/5) 10% increase to weapon's base stats. [/i][/b] Upon activation the Augmentor fuses the weapon in the quick slot (disabling the quick slot) with the currently equipped weapon, creating a new type of weapon as well as granting bonus on hit effects depending on the combination. Once deactivated the weapons will split apart and the quick equip slot will once again be available. When overclocked the Augmentor is still able to use the quick slot. (1/5) All Combination Bonus: 2% increase in damage. (2/5) All Combination Bonus: 4% increase in damage. 2% increase in attack speed. [b]Active Skill Level 20: Knight/Queen/King's Core[/b] [b][i]The Augmentor's key to survival is the Core, granting it the ability to adapt to any situation. Able to power up the Augmentor in ways unimaginable to even the most imaginative minds, the Augmentor lives day to day attempting to find upgrades and expansions to it's core. While there are many different types of Core upgrades to discover, they are often, by far, the rarest and strongest resources that an Augmentor would hope to discover. [/i][/b] Upon activation the Augmentor can access one of three core upgrades. King's Core allows the Augmentor's to throw out three spells/attacks that deals an additional % increase in damage, healing the Augmentor for a percentage of the damage dealt. Queen's Core allows the Augmentor to resist, dispell, and deflect any sort of debuff for a set duration. Knight's Core allows the Augmentor to become impervious to damage for a set time frame, absorbing the damage that would have been dealt to form a shield. Can use only 1 core at once. Other two cores have to be used before the same core can be used again. When overclocked, two cores can be used at once. Cooldown: 1200 seconds (1/5) King's Core: 50% additional damage. Queen's Core: 1 second. Knight's core: .5 seconds, 2.5% damage absorbed as shield (2/5) King's Core: 70% additional damage. Queen's Core: 2 second.
