Yumi smiled playfully at Viral before continuing on, not wanting to further agitate him right now. She was only poking a bit of fun at him, nothing serious. She knew how to hunt at a very basic level right now, fashion weapons and lay traps, she'd done all of that before. Her idea of their going hunting though was doing it more like animals, utilizing their senses and hunting by hand. The Beastman wasn't going to be crazy about that idea, though, she could already tell. Otherwise he'd not have bothered bringing up weapons in the first place. Realistically she could have everything she needed within moments, sans perhaps for something to fasten the sharpened rock to the stick. Some kind of fibrous plant, which would be easy if they were on Earth. Here on Kaesstra she hadn't a clue what sort of plant would suit her needs. "That would be much easier if we were back on our planet, you know that," Yumi retorted, frowning as she began glancing around for components to her weapon, "We have no idea what half of these plants are like, or how well they'll work. I should have though to ask T'charrl earlier..." Trial and error then, she'd find a winning combination sooner or later. Aha, and there was the first piece she would need too, a nice solid looking branch fallen from a tree! Beaming she jumped over to where it laid and snatched it up, giving it a careful inspection as she turned it over in her hands. Breaking off a few smaller limbs she used the branch to give a tree a solid whack, satisfied when it held together. Now for a sharp rock and some string! "We're from the same society, Kai! Just different parts!" Kabocha retorted, smirking as he began to move into the air, "Don't get sore at me because I drew a lucky straw. I guess none of that matters now that we're on the run though, huh? We're equals as far as anyone else is concerned." There was a faint hint of bitterness in his tone, but he tried his damnedest not to let it show as he turned and took off, ready to get to the city. His money had to work, no one else had any sort of coinage on them and they certainly wouldn't get anything for free. Maybe he was being a bit cynical, but it was unlikely these people would give them free food for something they had done well over a month ago. It would be a nice gesture, and sure as hell more convenient but unlikely. Feeling two powers coming up behind him Kabocha glanced back, making a rude gesture to Kai out of frustration, "They'll take my money Kai, just you wait! And maybe I won't even pay for your food for being such a skeptic!" Hmph, that would show him. Even Choi was keeping his mouth shut for a change so couldn't his twin just do the same? If they had to find another means of paying for food then he wasn't sure whatsoever what they were going to do. Shu was more than handily going to win whatever little race they might have, Takeshi knew that. Still he couldn't help but turn it into a competition, it just made things all the more exciting. Grinning as he came alongside his brother the older boy prodded Shu in the side before taking off, swinging and leaping (mostly) from tree to tree. No one was probably all that surprised when the little guy quickly caught up and passed him, making the whole swinging thing look terribly easy. Even when doing something that required a fair bit of focus Shu still found time to be a chatterbox, talking and squeaking away like a monkey with too much sugar in its system. Takeshi found himself smiling widely at his sibling's antics, it really was impossible not to play along when he was like this. "Outdoors isn't a door, knucklehead!" he called ahead, laughing as he flipped off of a branch and onto another, "Being outside is kind of awesome though!" It really had been much too long since they had done this. Even on Earth they hadn't played a whole lot, spending most of their time inside of the city. Takeshi missed this stuff, it really was more fun than he gave it credit for, they ought to do it more. If he missed it as much as he did then Shu must have been really itching for some time outside. Haku was beginning to see how the others could have fun doing something like this. Sure it was awkward, terribly so. He couldn't swing even as well as Takeshi let alone Shu, his balance was arguably crap by comparison and he kept jumping too fast and near overshooting most of his jumps. That being said it was actually enjoyable, he never did something like this before. There was never time to do something simply for the sake of doing it, it was always one job or another or some mission, that was it. Free time was basically non-existent, the most he'd ever had up until now was when he was left behind on Earth. Now he found himself with all the time in the world to do as he pleased, when he pleased, and at the current that meant giving Shu's little game a try. If he weren't so busy gasping and floundering for some solid footing he might even be laughing right now, he did crack a smile now and again. Slow as he was it was perhaps a good thing for him T'charrl opted to try running in that new form of his, both of them were much slower than the Princes who were racing on ahead. So maybe he'd been a bit quick to say this was a stupid idea, now he actually wanted to see what was next on the agenda.
