Username: Rune_Alchemist Name: Claire Terrane Age: 25 Gender: Female Allegiance: Ayero Weapon: An heirloom family sword that, despite it's age has never lost its sharpness or durability. It was locked away in a display - her parents wanted to sell it to pay off their debts, but after becoming the head of the house, she decided it was time to put it to good use. It has a surprisingly simply, yet elegant design. The blade shines with an unnatural beauty during the day, and magnificently reflects the rays of the sun. The cross guard is a strong, durable steel that has been plated with gold and inlaid with a ruby. The grip seems to always be warm to the touch no matter where it is. She has a elegant, yet ruthless fighting style and will not hesitate to use force to accomplish her goals. Appearance: Claire stands around average height for a woman her age, though that doesn't make her any less intimidating to be around. Strong and fit, she is able to match most men in terms of strength and battle ability and she seems to radiate an aura of confidence. Her skin seems to have a constant tan, a side effect from her training sessions with Groudon and other training she does outdoors. Her hair is a warm golden color some of her previous suitors have likened to the suns rays on a warm summer day, and her brown eyes seem to almost be red in color. She doesn't usually style her hair, preferring it to let it hang naturally. She wears her armor most of the time when out on business and when meeting other nobles, or training. The armor is surprisingly durable, yet made of an extremely durable dark gray and blue cloth and steel polished to a silver sheen. She has a ceremonial cape she only wears during formal meetings, simply for appearances. The cape is a light red color, and has the emblem of the Terrrane house emblazoned on it. Do not mistake the cape for a handicap. She can fight just as well in it as without it. Personality: Claire is a strong, independent and ambitious woman, who doesn't like being told what to do and always sticks unerringly to her beliefs and decisions, never backing down even if it gets her into trouble or hurts someone she's close to. Her stubborn pride wouldn't let her do that, not without a ton of convincing from someone she considers a close friend. Currently, she only has two goals. Restore her house to the super power that it once was, and punish the morphs for taking her best friend from her. However, despite her serious, ruthless nature she has a reputation for, she isn't always like that, and in fact is quite torn between what she should be doing. For those who manage to stick with her despite her serious, somewhat stubborn exterior, they'll find a girl who is secretly somewhat insecure and torn about what she should do. Her main motivation for doing things is vengeance against the morphs for taking her best friend and partner from her. She has been filled with nothing but hate for the morphs since that day. She realizes her friend wouldn't approve of her behavior, and it's not a healthy mindset, but she can't help it. Whenever confronted with a morph, she is filled with an anger she can barely keep under control. She tries to rein it in, and she does succeed usually, but sometimes...sometimes, she just can't help it. When alone, or not doing any duties that pertain to her nobility or other such things, she is surprisingly rather lax and laid back. Her favorite pastime of which - is napping under the sun in some secluded place under a tree. While her duties are many and most never see her do this, anytime she's not working or doing other things, she can be found laying down on some grassy plain or forest and blocking out the rest of the world as though it wasn't there. While not overly intelligent or what some might call 'book smart', Claire does have a fair bit of street smarts from her troublemaker days and can be quite clever should she need to. However, she does try to remain rational in most situations, especially in battle or dealing with other people. She always tries to remain rational and rely on what she thinks the best outcome would be for the majority, as that's what logic dictates, even if it would mean someone would have to be hurt or she would have to leave someone behind. That said, she's not heartless and it pains her to do such things and if at all possible such a situation should be avoided. But, if it is for the greater good, she won't hesitate. Many think for this reason, she isn't very friendly nor does she have many friends. However, she does try but tends to be rather awkward when making small talk or or talking anything other than business. Often times, she'll trip over her words and seem like a complete idiot. Her only friend is Groudon, if you could call the super ancient pokemon that. As a result, she tends to keep conversations quick, short, and to the point. Most people are too intimidated by her appearance and attitude to get to know her otherwise, much to her dismay. The large pokemon that follows her around doesn't help much either. She tends to also be wary around Nobles and other people of power, if only because she herself, questions what 'nobility' and 'honor' is. Something she grew up knowing nothing about. Above all though, her two personal missions come first. Vengeance, and rebuilding her families glory and power. She will not tolerate anyone who gets in the way of these objectives, and serves the crown of Ayero without hesitation....for now. Biography: Claire is the second child of the Terrane family in Ayero, during a hot sunny day in the middle of summer. Unfortunately, she had been an accident - her parents had not intended to have any other children, simply because they were unsure if they could support one with the way their family was doing. Not that they didn't love her, in fact, they were more than delighted to have another child. They simply knew the extra stress another child would have on their already declining status as nobles. Years of bad harvests, mining operations, and other setbacks had taken a toll on the family. They had been nobles in Ayero for centuries. Ever since the Ayero kingdom was founded, some of the house members say. They were determined to keep it that way, and with her older brother being named the next head of the house they couldn't take the chance she could start something that would be detrimental to them. As such, they decided to leave Claire out of the nobility. She would be raised by her grandfather, though they wouldn't let her go alone. Before she left at the age of six, they sent the families Gallade with her, to watch over her and make sure she was safe. So, she grew up with her grandfather, an old man by the name of Alderic and her Gallade not even caring about nobility. She didn't even consider herself a noble growing up, though she did harbor some resentment to her family for sending her away, she did understand, at least a little why they did it. She had Gallade became close friends, and to a lesser extent Alderic. As a kid, she went everywhere with Gallade, and Gallade never left her side. To her, he was like the father she was never going to have. Of course, Alderic was there but he was a smelly old man and they didn't like him. Growing up, she and Gallade remained close, even if they started to have different personalities. Hers, the mischievous troublemaker and him always the one having to bail her out of dangerous situations, and though he always made sure to discipline her for it, the two wouldn't have had it any other way. They were inseparable, as one might say. Occasionally, her parents would visit to see how she was doing, or write letters, but as far as she was concerned, nobility wasn't her life. She didn't care about it, and she had no intention of being one. She wouldn't make a good leader anyways. She was much too lazy, at least that's what she told herself. It wasn't until she was almost killed by her antics at the hands of some street thugs when she was thirteen that her grandfather start teaching her how to use a blade. She resisted at first. She didn't think she should have to learn the way of the sword. To her, it was simply another chore that took up her free time. It wasn't until a few more mishaps that she started to take swordsmanship seriously. When she did, Alderic, her grandfather was impressed. She was a natural at it. She had more talent then most men or boys had at her age. Not to mention, she had the perfect sparring partner to help her hone her own skills - Gallade, who happily assisted in her training. To Alderic, it was clear that Claire was going to do great things. Maybe it was an old mans silly wishful thinking, but he decided to tell her the family legend of Groudon. Something she didn't even know existed. With anything educational or not remotely related to slacking off or swordplay, she wasn't that interested, but she listened, if only with halfhearted interest in the subject. Legendary pokemon just wasn't her thing. It was part of her parents nobility. Something she had been brought up to not even care about, and she didn't. It was obvious she wasn't interested, so Alderic stopped, much to her own pleasure. She continued living her life in relative ease, without any worries about stupid nobility or such. Unfortunately, her days as a lazy-good for nothing vagabond were soon to be put to an end. Sometime around when she was 18 Her and Gallade had decided to go train in the forest one day, at the urging of Gallade. He wanted to see how good she had gotten again. She obliged, if somewhat reluctant since he had woken her from her regularly scheduled nap time. However, they didn't know a small group of Morphs had taken up residence within the forest - the group of which, had just fled some humans who were hunting them. Claire and Gallade, happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. They stumbled upon where the Morphs were making their makeshift shelter. The morphs, having just fled some humans assumed they were after them, and had come to capture or kill them. Claire tried to reason with them, but it was in vain. After a brief, heated exchanging of words, one of the Morphs attacked Gallade. After that, it went to hell before anyone could even realize what had happened. The morphs attacked, and they fought back. Gallade easily handled himself. He was a very skillful pokemon, if a bit old. Unfortunately, Claire couldn't even handle a few of the morphs herself. She doesn't remember much about what happened after being attacked, just the most important parts to her. A flash of electricity. Gallade suddenly in front of her. Him falling, giving her a weak smile as he fell to the ground and being enveloped in a soothing light as he teleported her away, back into the forest. Immediately, she tried to find her way back to the place where the fight had been, but she was too late. By the time she had got back Gallade had died. She fell, her legs unable to support her as they turned to jelly. She doesn't remember how long she had stayed there, clutching the dead pokemons' body and just crying. Gallade had been more to a father to her than her own parents had ever been. Hell, he was her best friend. He may have been the only friend she ever even had since her shenanigans made her the town troublemaker and most people were wary of her, even the other kids she grew up with now. By the time her grandfather had come to look for her, it was nightfall. They buried Gallade on a small hill not far from town, her favorite spot where she napped or just generally looked up at the skies whenever she could get out of working. For a time, she was just completely lost to grief, blaming herself for what had happened. If only she had been stronger. If only she hadn't been so lazy, if only she had tried to actually do something other than just goof off all the time...maybe, maybe she wouldn't have let herself be surrounded like that. She began to train daily, after this, losing herself in her work. Until she remembered the legend of Groudon her Grandfather tried to tell her all those years ago. She went in, and demanded he tell her. He was reluctant at first, but eventually gave in once she said she was going to find the pokemon whether he helped her or not. The legends didn't really give her much to go on, but after doing some research herself, she came to the conclusion that Groudon would most likely be resting somewhere deep in the earth, where it could probably sleep in magma comfortably after its titanic battle with Kyogre. First, she set off towards her parents estate. Without even asking, she went in and grabbed the families hierloom sword, a set of armor and 'borrowed' a pidgeot from her brother, Lucas. She flew to the one place where she thought was most likely to hold the ancient pokemon. An ancient volcano that had been long dormant. Needless to say, her parents were less than thrilled when they found out, but by then she was long gone. She made her way to the ancient volcano, releasing the Pidgeot when she landed. It didn't take her long to find a way inside the volcano. It was difficult, at first, but thankfully she managed to get through the upper caves without much trouble, finding her way through the darkness until she made it deeper into the earth. It took her awhile, and she began to quesiton whether this was actually a good idea. However, her doubts were washed away soon. Small pools of magma began to light her way. With a confident grin, she strode forward until she reached the scorching depths of the volcano. And that's when she saw it. The colossal pokemon from the ancient legends. It was covered in hardened magma, most likely in an effort to heal itself after its battle with Kyogre. And that's, when things got a little...heated. Without warning, the ground began to heave, the long dormant pools of magma in the pit below her began to flow, and the ancient pokemon began to awaken. Groudon began to move, moving its way upwards towards the surface at a speed she couldn't keep up with. And that's when, the magma began to get a bit too close for comfort. She headed back above ground, making much better time than when she descended (mainly thanks to the tunnels filling with magma.) After finally making it out, she was confronted by the colossal pokemon. At first, she was slightly terrified. What was she supposed to do? She felt as though the pokemon was sizing her up, as if seeing if she was worthy to control it. Then, something rather, odd happened...the ancient pokemon simply laid down on the ground, and began to nap again. And thus began their somewhat odd relationship. After a bit of pushing, She finally managed to get Groudon to return home with her. Much to her parents surprise - they had never thought the super ancient pokemon even existed in the first place. So, after a few days of discussion, they named her the new head of the house. Lucas, didn't object, if only because he didn't really care much for the nobility anyways, and would rather spend money than find ways to help his family grow. After that, Claire managed to stabilize her families funds. Settle the families debts, sell a large chunk of their land, and re-open the mine, the main source of their families income that had been closed due to the fact of increasingly large management costs due to her parents lack of skill in the area. For a time, managing her house was all she did. It was all she had time for, really. Learning to act like a proper noble around others and not openly insult them like she was so used to doing was quite difficult. After a few years though, she finally reached the point where she could travel a bit without having someone make a mess of things. In this time, Groudon and her have become good friends, if an odd pair. One thing Claire does realize, however, is that Groudon is hardly the god-like pokemon in her families legends. Either the legends are just that, legends, or he has been weakened after centuries of slumber. Either way, she seeks some way to return him to his former power. It would only help her family, after all. However, she will still use Groudon even in his current state to do everything she can to help Ayero, her House, and her own personal agenda. Nobility and honor ultimately mean little to me. All I want, is for my family to have Glory and to restore us to the power we once had. If I become a villain to achieve these goals, it matters not. I will make my mark upon history, be it good or bad. I will rise."

Species: Groudon Nickname: N/A Gender: N/A (Though, she refers to it as a He.) Appearance: Groudon, obviously was born generations ago, before even the old kingdom had been founded by the immortal king. The colossal Pokemon doesn't require much in the way of armor or armaments - it already has quite a huge ability without it, and such things would only slow down the large Pokemon. However, he has been outfitted with various harnesses that make use of the Pokemons' incredibly strength. At a moments noticed, he can be loaded with supplies needed for a long journey. Medical supplies, food, water, etc. Anything anyone would need to travel a great distance. Personality: Despite his intimidating appearance, Groudon is a rather lax pokemon and would rather sleep, goof off, or eat than fight. Though, this may simply be a side effect from his slumber. He tends to be more passive towards most events and minds his own business. So much so that Claire usually has to order the beast to get off his butt and actually do something. The ancient pokemon doesn't really mind, though, much to everyone surprise. Over the years it has stayed at the Terrane manor while Claire learned the way of nobility and how to address other nobles properly, he gained a bit of a reputation for a bit of a troublemaker. Some have even called the ancient pokemon seems to behave more like a child, than a super powerful ancient pokemon. After being awoken from its ancient slumber, he was at first confused. Kyogre wasn't anywhere to be seen, and Raquaza wasn't around. The only thing it saw, was this funny little two legged creature. He didn't know why, but for some reason, this creature...this, human, was what woke it from its sleep. Well, might as well do something other than crush it....like sleep. Sleep sounded good. Later, after the human insisted on not leaving, he learned the humans name was Claire, and that she was a descendant of people that used to worship him as a god Despite his sleepy, almost childlike behavior, he is a force to be reckoned with if someone makes him angry, or Claire orders him too. He won't hesitate to crush his or her enemies on the spot, and is actually quite protective of the human. Moveset: Precipice Blades, Lava Plume, Stone Edge, Eruption Ability: Drought. At will, Groudon can make the sunlight intense, even in the dead of winter. However, the more severe the weather is, the harder it would be for him to change it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Username: Rune_Alchemist Name: Levinia Faust Age: 23 Gender: Female Allegiance: The Morphs/Herself Weapon: Spear A spear she took with her whens he escaped the humans after they tried capturing her. It has a surprisingly elegant design, made out of strong steel an sharpened to a fine point. It has a sapphire embedded just below the spearhead, though its just for decoration. Supposedly, the spear comes from somewhere in Lugere, though she cares not for the weapons history that much. The haft of the spear also has a spike on the end of it, which could easily be used for stabbing or cutting someone. While she has some skill to be sure, her abilities are mostly self taught and she doesn't use it that much, and would never last against someone who has been training with their weapons for a long time. Pokemon Form Species: Luxray Pokemon Form Ability: Guts. (Attack is raised 50% if inflicted with a status problem). Trying to put status effects on her? Well, that's a bad idea. She loves nothing more than an exciting battle, and hindering her in some way is just going to make her fight harder. Pokemon Form Moveset: Wild Charge, Thunder, Ice Fang, Spark. Appearance: Levinia is a tall, beautiful woman that would draw the attention of most males, and maybe even a few other women. She is taller than even most men, and has an oddly...wild, somewhat off-putting vibe. Most humans tend to give her space when she ever ventures into human settlements, for this reason. Her hair is dark, almost pitch black in color yet surprisingly soft, almost fur-like should anyone have the nerve to touch it. Her skin is extremely pale, as if she doesn't get out in the sun much - a side effect of her nocturnal habits. The most striking feature of hers though, is her golden colored eyes that most people notice first about her. Coupled with the constant smirk that adorns her features and the other peculiarities about her, she gives off an air of somewhat, otherworldly beauty. The greyish-blue armor she wears whenever she decides she needs to venture into human settlements, isn't just for show. She stole the light, yet durable armor from some merchants that decided to ignore her rather generous warning. In Pokemon form, she is obviously larger than your average wild Luxray, but other than that, she looks like the typical electric type Pokemon. Personality: Levi, is to sum up in a few words, overconfident, arrogant, and loves to fight. By nature, she is a loner and doesn't play well with others. After being in the wild alone for so long other than the occasional morph she decides to help, she's probably closer to a wild pokemon than an actual Human. She prefers her pokemon form over that of her human one, simply because she views humans as weak and frail beings with few redeeming qualities about them. That said, she doesn't view them as inherently evil or bad. She is wary of all of them though, after most dealings with them have ended rather badly in some way or another. To most humans, she is cold, arrogant, and if they show any signs of what she think is hostility, she won't hesitate to use violence. Especially if they are a soldier, noble, or any other high-ranking member of human society. As far as she cares, they have all at least killed one morph in their life since its become like a sport to them, and won't hesitate to avenge her brethren. If they are a simply trader or merchant, or commoner who simply ended up lost in her territory for some reason or another, she will give them a warning to leave. Or if she's feeling particularly charitable, she'll show them the way out, in her own rather...roundabout way. If she's in a bad mood...well, they only get one chance. Her charity and patience can only go so far. To other morphs, she doesn't change her attitude that much. Other than the fact she won't kill or attack them on sight, she still doesn't have or want much to do with the other Morphs. If she stumbles upon one in her travels, she'll engage in polite and civil conversation if she is so inclined, but she won't become overly friendly with them. She will, however, help them if they need it in some form or fashion. She believes all Morphs should try to stick together to help each other, but she isn't so good at practicing what she preaches. She doesn't play so well in groups after all, after being alone so long. However, on the off chance someone does befriend her, or at least gets close enough for her to consider you her 'plaything', you'll find that she's actually very friendly, in her own odd way. In fact, she becomes almost too friendly some might say. She has almost no sense of personal space and can be quite...touchy or very 'hands on', with others. And while she'll never openly address you as 'friend', it is usually rather obvious whether she likes you or not as such. Biography: Levinia grew up as the youngest child with five brothers, making her the sixth child of the family. Being the last to be born, she was considered the runt of the family for most of her childhood. Her brothers of course, didn't miss this opportunity to try and pick on her or mess with her. They fought with each other more often than not, but it was never anything serious. In fact, roughhousing and fighting was their own special way of bonding to them, and more than once it all made them a bit closer. Still, that didn't change the fact that she was considered the baby and the runt. That, was something she hated. Growing up in a village of morphs though, was a bit difficult for her to change her image in the eyes of the people who lived there, but she was determined to change it. When she was ten, one day, a travelling morph stumbled upon their village. He said he was looking for a place to call home. The village welcomed him with open arms, glad to have someone that looked like they could at least handle themselves a bit if humans ever decided to come here. Levi was interested for mostly the same reason, though she was more interested in the long, pointy, weapon he carried. Seeing her interest, the older morph started to teach her how to use it, and gave her the weapon. She had more than a few mishaps at first and her brothers more often than not laughed at her for trying it. But that was alright. As soon as she developed some real skill, she would show them just how good she was with it. Being somewhat jealous though, the eldest brother stole the weapon and broke it. At first, she was furious, but the older morph simply laughed, and said he was going to teach her how to make her own spear from scratch. She eagerly accepted the lesson. Soon, she had crafted her first weapon out of wood collected in the nearby forest, stone, and string. It was a primitive, simple weapon to be sure but she couldn't have been more proud of it. It wasn't long before she made her first set of makeshift armor either out of leather, and other things easily obtained from within the forest. Needless to say, she was slowly becoming known for more than being the youngest child of the Faust family. She would have continued this daily routine of training and such, had she not been so naive and curious to venture close to a group of humans when she was fifteen. She had been out hunting, and had so far been unsuccessful with the endeavor. They offered her some warm food and a place to warm herself by their campfire. She naively accepted. The next thing she remembers, is waking up, tied up in one of their carriages. Whatever they had fed her, they had poisoned or something and had thought it would be funny to try and capture her. Unfortunately for them, she knew more than enough to get out of this situation without much harm to herself. She managed to free herself and quietly searched the wagon for a weapon. And that's when she saw the spear she still carries to this day. She grabbed it, but it wasn't going to be that easy to get out. The guards had heard her rummaging around and went to investigate. She had no choice but to fight at this point, and she didn't hesitate to do it. The battle was brief, but bloody. She killed two of the humans, and injured three more before she was able to flee into the surrounding area. After losing them, she realized one thing. She had no idea where she was. Nothing at all seemed familiar to her. Just how long had she been out? Surely they couldn't have taken her that far, could they? She was...completely lost for what to do. She didn't know how to find her way home, so she did the one thing she could think of. Pick a direction and start walking. Since that day, she has never seen her home not once. Living off the land was hard for a time, until she started using her pokemon form more than her human one. From time to time, she stumbled upon other morphs and other small settlements, but never stayed long. She had to find her home. Unfortunately, she has never been able to see it ever again. So she wonders the continents, searching for it. She has been all over the place the humans call Lugere, and just recently decided to take ship to Ayero. By now, she has given up most hope of finding her home, or fitting in with other people or morphs, but still she travels, looking for a place she might one day call home again. Appearance: Cyrus is tall, and quite fit if not muscular or particularly skilful at fighting with weapons other than his mind. He has short, neatly kept dark hair with red two patches of red hair - an odd trait that runs in most of the male members of his family in some form or another. He has sharp, perceptive blue eyes that seem to be able to discern quite a few things about people at just a moments glance. He usually dresses in his suit, as he believes appearances are a major part of any battle or presentation. He must always look his best no matter what he does. He always has a confident look about him. Personality: Cyrus is a friendly and sociable fellow. He's one of those people that people seem to almost always like right off the bat, even if they have never met him before. He always seems to know a great deal of people despite his young age and always seems to be on the good side of very influential people. He is always eager to meet new people and make new friends and acquaintances, and help people if its within his power to do so. To most, he would seem like a shining example of what the nobility should be. Strong willed, intelligent, kind, and friendly to the commoners, with an almost unnatural Charisma and friendly, almost naive joviality. Of course, most people don't know the incredibly dark inner workings of House Kiernan. Cyrus has killed one of his parents, his own brother, and banished his younger sister from Lugere so his rule as the head of House Kiernan is absolute. Under that friendly exterior, is a hidden ruthlessness that prevents him from stopping anywhere until he has achieved his goals. What is his current goal? Simply put, freedom. The freedom to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants and to have whatever his little heart desires. Women. Money. Power. A long life. He wants anything that will allow him to have his freedom. So, as long as you stay out of his way and don't hinder him - or resist him, should you have something he desires, you'll be perfectly fine. However, he can be quite paranoid sometimes. If he suspects that you are out to get him, even by a little bit, he will take care of the problem before it even becomes one. Loyalty and trust to him...is almost nonexistent. His two favorite pastimes are reading, and flirting with the women in his estate and any other pretty little thing that catches his eye. He has built up a reputation as a notorious ladies man around Lugere, and has more than once had an affair with a married woman. This has gotten him into some trouble a few times, but he always manages to come out thanks to his wits, intelligence, and if things tend to get violent, he has more than enough money and manpower at his disposal to make the problem go away. He is incredibly intelligent, well read, and loves the arts, thanks to spending most of his time in the library reading as a child. He is very knowledgeable about the ways of the world and the countries, and is quite familiar with legends regarding the ancient legendary pokemon, the history of quite a few of the noble houses of both Lugere and Ayero, and he's even done some research on the old kingdom and the immortal king, though that's more of a recent endeavor and he still is doing quite a bit of research on it. Usually, he can be found reading and drinking some tea out on the balcony of his estate with his pokemon Lucine at his side. Or perhaps painting, or walking through the garden listening to the musicians playing or playing himself. When it comes to fighting, to put bluntly, he's a coward. He has no means of directly defending himself as he never bothered to learn how to use a weapon aside from some skill with a dagger, and physically speaking, is not too impressive. If faced with a life threatening situation where he must fight, he relies on his own hands, trickery, and underhanded tactics to cripple the enemy, then run for dear life. However, if it is a situation that he knows he must put an end to with either him dying or whoever attacking him dying, he will stay and fight, if he must. Biography: Cyrus was born as the middle child in the Keirnan family. Not exactly a safe position to be in. The Kiernan family wasn't a safe place to grow up at all, in all honesty. But that's just the way it was to them. You grow up and learn to watch after yourself, or you didn't make it past the age of twelve. Their family was one that valued stealth, power, intelligence, and strong will above all else. Assassins were just a daily part of life for them. More than half was probably hired by his own brother and father. Life was a daily battle. Quite literally, sometimes. Cyrus though, was lucky enough to make it to his early teens, where he first took interest in reading, history, and other various arts such as gardening and painting. Something his brother mocked him for, his father looked down on him and his mother was indifferent. His little sister though, was quite interested and more than once the two of them read, studied, and painted together. Despite that though, he could never bring himself to trust her, simply because of the way their family worked. Though, he never tried to harm her in any way - she was the only one who seemed utterly disinterested in the workings of the family. It wasn't until he was sixteen that something significant happened. Their mother, was murdered. Not entirely unexpected, but it was...unsettling, to say the least no matter what. His little sister, Lucille was devastated, though he himself couldn't understand why exactly, still he comforted her. Little did they know, it was all a plot by the eldest, to get rid of any competition for the head of house. For a time, things continued like normal. An assassin every day or so. Someone poisoned your food. A few months later though, while he was reading in the library, he overheard his father and brother talking about their scheme. They were going to kill Lucy. Until now, he had very little interest in killing someone. In fact, he had never once tried to send assassins after someone. Now though...he had to, if he wanted to protect the one person in the world that he actually trusted somewhat. So he plotted to first kill his father, and pin the blame on Lucy. If he did that, then there was a chance he could save her from being killed by Alex and his Father. One night, when his father was up in his study, he sneaked in...and did the deed, using one of Lucy's decorative daggers to do it. That, was the only thing he needed to do was convict her of the crime. Normally, she would have been sent to prison. However, thanks to his standing...he was able to avert such a fate for her. Instead, he had her banished from the kingdom with a sentence saying that if she ever returned, she would be executed for murder. He gave her enough money to book passage on a decent ship, and that was the last he ever saw of her. She was out of the game...she was safe...and when this was all over, maybe he could find some way to bring her back. Unfortunately, after that, there was now a power vacuum in the house. It was essentially a free for all, the house was split and torn on who they should support as an heir. Their father had died without naming anyone specific, and since two of his children were both saying they were the rightful heads, things got ugly, really fast - at least, under the friendly and kind exterior the commoners and everyone else saw. It was when one such attempt had been made on his life, he ran into a certain Gothorita whilst fleeing for dear life through a forest after his carriage was attacked. She dispatched the assassins and the pokemon his brother had sent after him quite easily. After that, the two became good friends as they traveled on foot back to civilization. Once he got back, he decided it was time to settle this once and for all. He confronted his brother and his pokemon, a Bisharp, with Lucine. to be sure, he was at a serious disadvantage against the dark type, but that's where his cleverness and trickery came in. While Lucine kept Bisharp busy, he went directly after Alexander. While he had no previous fighting experience whatsoever, he had to finish this here and now. After having his dagger knocked from his hands, he tackled his brother, and in an almost blind rage began to beat him senseless with his own hands. He would have continued to do so also, had Lucine not stopped him. Officially, he had his death declared an accident. At the age of 18, he became the official head of the house, and did one thing - sent out people to see if he could find his sister. Unfortunately, wherever she may be...he could never find her. A part of him worries she was killed by Alexander anyways, but without solid proof, he's going to keep looking. For now though, his focus is on his duties as a noble. Serving his country in any way he sees possible. He occasionally sends agents to Ayero to see if he can find anything about his missing sister, but his efforts still prove to be in vain. Oh, and make sure there isn't any poison in it this time. I would hate to have to...fire, another one of you."
Species: Gothitelle Nickname: Lucine Gender: Female Appearance: The only notable thing Lucine has, is a ribbon embroidered with the crest of house Keirnan on it. She doesn't like accessories, armor, or other things all that much, and if he tries to put any on her, it usually ends up with him being smacked in the face with a book. Personality:Lucine is a rather quiet pokemon around other people, preferring to watch events rather than act, unless she sees some threat to Cyrus or is ordered by him to do something. She, like her master, likes the quiet and is content to just be near him. Though they have known each other for a very short time, the two are very good friends. Often times, she is a voice of reason for him when more of his less than savory impulses may try to get him to do something he'll regret later. She convinced him violence, isn't the only way to get what he wants. Lucine can be rather distrustful of others initially, simply because of the things Cyrus has done has earned him the ire of quite a few people that would want to see him dead and she fears they may be an assassin of sorts. Thankfully, though, she usually doesn't have much reason to worry. Moveset: Psyshock, Signal Beam, Energy Ball, Hypnosis Ability: Shadow Tag.
