Hm... A nice flat, sharp stone. There had to be something like that around here, and if not she could easily break one to suit her needs. It was finding some kind of fiber to bind it all together that was going to prove to be the really tricky part. Maybe she could see if any of the trees were fibrous enough, pull back some bark and see what they looked like underneath. Or some small plants should do the trick, something flexible. "I know Viral, but I don't even know what plants to look for here. It's not Earth, we don't know what any of these are really," Yumi said, giving her stick a careful look over, "I could just make this really pointy and leave it at that, but that's no fun!" Now where was a rock when you needed it? There were loads of smooth ones, especially by a small stream they had crossed, but nothing remotely sharp. She'd probably need to make one herself then, no big deal. The next smooth rock she found she scooped it up and showed it to Viral, smiling knowingly before making a detour towards a larger rock off to the side. "That's two out of three down, still need that string though..." Taking a second to look at the rock in hand she began striking its sides along the small boulder, slowly chipping away the edges with each hit. Using Ki to simply cut away at the rock would be leagues easier but it might also somehow anger Viral, best not to do that. With a series of strikes Yumi had what resembled a slightly jagged but perfectly workable spearhead. Using the rock she'd fashioned she cut away a small nick in the edge of the branch, resting the rock in it soundly. "Tah-dah, one spear! Almost." Kabocha shrugged his shoulders, not particularly bothered by the sibling comment. Sure he had no siblings but that meant he got everything he wanted. That and he got better individual training than the twins did, so that was a plus. The only thing they had going for them was their teamwork, something that the Princes couldn't even match still. Probably part of that twin-telepathy stuff Choi had brought up before. Weird, he couldn't imagine someone being in his mind, nor would he want them too, it could be a pretty shady place. "Alright, we'll try exchanging the money for some Kaesstrian coin if that makes you happy," Kabocha said reluctantly, exasperated with Kai, "Sheesh, it's not like it's the end of the world if we can't buy things. Just means we need to go and hunt, which isn't exactly hard." That might even be preferable, all things considered. They would at least know then what they were eating. Whatever they bought may not taste all that good, or when they found out what it was it may be a bit off putting. Far as Kabocha could recall these people weren't huge on meat either so the selection likely left a lot to be desired. Worst case scenario he could always by some souvenirs, gods know why though. Takeshi was having fun, a lot more than he'd thought he would have. Maybe he needed this break as well, it was nice to be able to goof off without the sense of something hanging over your head. Well there were the tree canopies, but that was different. His tree-to-tree leaping wasn't nearly as graceful as Shu's was, he stumbled a fair bit and had to take shortcuts but it was working out, and he was enjoying it. They really didn't do enough of this kind of stuff anymore, everything was so rigid and focused on the war as of late. Landing squarely on a thick branch he took a brief moment to check on the others, smirking T'charrl and Haku a fair bit behind them. So they weren't nearly as fast, with the Kaesstrian having to run and the other Saiyan being less than graceful. Couldn't blame him, goodness knows Takeshi was awkward as anything on his first attempt. Crouching down and placing his hands on the branch he launched himself forward, laughing as he went between two branches and grabbed onto one beyond them, swinging around and flipping up into the air. Again he managed to find some easy footing on a branch, the limb bending as he landed before he jumped off again. "Tell Vegeta! Maybe we can get some on there!" Takeshi said with a laugh, jumping to get closer to Shu, "I bet it'd work!" Those two made this look so easy it was ridiculous, Haku could hardly keep himself up. He almost felt embarrassed when trying to do this alongside the Princes, there was no way he could do what they did and he knew it. It might be true practice makes perfect but at the moment he was finding it hard to want to keep trying. It didn't help either when Takeshi launched himself forward and made it look simple, he couldn't do that unless he wanted to smack into a tree or something. Glancing down at T'charrl and seeing the Kaesstrian running along he figured he might as well do that instead, running was something he could do just fine. Bounding off of the next branch he used his Ki to push himself down, landing a bit behind the alien before breaking off into a run, keeping just behind him. Even if he couldn't swing in the trees and felt a bit lame for it Haku couldn't say he wasn't enjoying himself. This was all new to him, the world, running about, laughing with people, and he really liked it. They didn't like him being here and he knew it but he could still enjoy things on his own. Glancing over at T'charrl he smiled faintly, his eyes shifting to the ground as he ran along. "Your planet is... Really nice..." Haku mumbled, coughing awkwardly, "Much nicer than Kortal... I like it." Hm, was it wrong to call what he was doing work when it was promising to be so fun? Vegeta was technically going into the city for a progress update from Katas and to look into other matters, so it was all business, but he was a bit giddy to do it. What had the Kaesstrians done in his absence, he wondered. They showed promise, and goodness knows they had some impressive technology given their world's overall status. Their medical facilities were good enough to work on Viral and that led him to believe their other technology must be comparable, if not better. He knew their inter-city communications were good, complete with holograms and impressive data transfer, and they actually had a fairly robust electrical grid set up for the city as well. Supposedly the other major cities of Kaesstra were just as good if not more-so, it was like being in a candy shop, having the chance to experience all of it. Looking into other cities would have to wait though, that would mean traveling and it was a bit hard to do that with so many people.
