Katherin chewed on her pencil. It wasn't that she didn't know how to do math. She knew a few things. But being blind she didn't know how to do math on paper. What she knew how to do she did in her head. Which was fine except how did she show the housekeeper what she knew when she couldn't write it down? She would ask when the housekeeper returned. "Ive never been to school or anything like that." Katherin answered. "But I've learned a few things on he streets. I'm just uncertain how to show my knowledge."
