"I'll take the bat." Cassie stated, taking the bat into her hands "When I was little my dad taught me how to swing on of these things." She took a practice swing with it and grinned before she sat back down, "He took me mini golfing once too but the club slipped right out of my hand and broke a window, so I think that is clear enough a sign for me to stay away from using those as a weapon." She joked and set the bat aside before going back to eating. She ate a couple of bites, thinking about what he had said on how he had survived this long and pursed her lips, "That's it? Just a bunch of traveling?" That sounded pretty uneventful to her, "No big attacks? Meeting other survivors? Just running around?" But, then again, what else should she had expected. All she had been doing to survive was hide in a plane and collect supplies when she needed them? Maybe the key to surviving this was to run and hide? it seemed to have worked with the two of them thus far anyway. Taking another bite of her food, she shrugged, "I guess that does make sense. I survived by hiding, so traveling around to a lot of places shouldn't be any less efficient." She looked back up at him, a curious look coming to her face, "Am I the first person you've met in a while?" She had to admit she was curious about that. He could have met other people who maybe had died? Or maybe scavengers that didn't really want anything to do with other people. She sure hadn't seen any of those, but for all she knew he might have.
